This looks pretty interesting.....the last point-your-iphone for info app I tried didn't work too well though. I'm in DC and kept getting stuff from Miami LOL. I'll put it on the appshopper wishlist and think about it I guess.

Just tried it from my studio in Salem MA -- not a big city by any means. Worked like a charm. I'm very impressed.

    Review...

Why did I buy it? Not because I needed it but more because it's cool. It's one of the first decent augmented reality apps for a measly $0.99. I also having a 3GS it's kinda neat to get some 3GS specific apps just cause you can :p

So it works as described BUT selecting what your looking fro from the scroll menu does nothing for me. Sometimes it does but most of the time it doesn't. It will just stay on whatever you had last and not change. That being said the search bar works perfect and is more precise.

The reason why I like to use the search over the menu is because when you get a lot of results they pile on top of each other and it's hard to find/select what you want. They info boxes or whatever there called don't completely hide under one another but you can't read what is underneath all that well. They are transparent so it looks like the dev attempted to make it easier but still it's not easy enough IMO.

You can select your result radius which is actually your only selectable option.

Once you find what your looking for you can select it and make a call direct from there or look up the info on Bling. There's also Flickr and Twitter support but I don't use those I'll leave them to someone else to review.

If you tilt it down when you have your results you get the map just like in the video.

It all runs smooth, I had a couple crashes before I restarted the phone. They happened during my menu selection attempts which I don't do anymore cause nothing happens anyway.

For $0.99 it's fun and different. If ya wanna play with your new 3GS and wanna make all the other device owners hate you then get this and flaunt it. :p
