Howdy game lovers! Do we have any fans of super challenging survival games? Robots vs Ghosts is an intense survival game, played over a series of increasingly difficult waves. You'll have to use a combination of strategy, fast reactions, weapons, power-ups and more, as hundreds of ghosts try to capture the soul of your poor little robot. Storyline: In a post-apocalyptic world, and with its last dying breath, humanity manages to transfer souls into metal. These Robots, trying to get on with their lives as remnants of civilization, are forced to fight the Ghosts that extinguished their creators. --------------- It's going up in the app store in a few weeks, probably $0.99. Free for you in exchange for you testing on: - Any way you can make it crash - Feedback on whether the game runs smoothly (high framerate) - General feedback on gameplay. What's fun and what's annoying? - For you to try and beat MY wave record! You'll need an iPhone and TestFlight. I'll just need your email. Don't have a trailer yet, but here's a short gameplay clip (music track was tacked on) https://www.youtube.com/watch?t=79&v=shvCOjCkVpI
This looks so good. Loving the look of it. So good in fact, that I've embedded the video for you (Also I've PM'd you) Subscribe to the TouchArcade YouTube channel
Hello boys, I guess it's hard to tell because of the basic graphics and geometry, but the game is about a Robot (in the center of the screen) that tries to survive a series of waves of ghosts that are attacking him. It only takes a few Ghosts to kill you, so what you see in the video is quite an advanced level! To improve your chances of survival, you have a weapon that can fire in multiple ways, walls that you can squish enemies with (or just clear your path), as well as misc powerups. You move the Robot around by swiping on the screen, like you would in google maps, but there are more detailed instructions in the game tutorial.
Hey Sponggy, copaeci Not an exact one, but it should be on the app store early to mid October, depending on tester feedback in the coming days. It does run fine on iPads from a technical point of view, but it's designed for a small screen. We'll probably go iPhone-only.
leo, shin, fear: please send me a PM with your apple id email address Panzer, from my research it seems the Ipod 5th gen has the screen of an iPhone 5 but the CPU of an iPhone4S, so if it works it may be a bit slow. But, if you're still interested in at least trying and reporting results, send me your id in a PM!
The last one is pretty cool, the first one is great too especially if the game has minimalist graphic design... Ah too bad it's iPhone only game :/
