How the platforming compared to League of Evil? Are the controls as tight and responsive? Can you control yourself in the air? Is it overly floaty or heavy?
Completely no-brainer purchase at 99 cents. It's basically 6 short, very simple metroidvania style games in one. When the first update hits, it will become way more than 6 due to custom level sharing.
Can you save anytime during the longer levels that take about 1 hour to finish? If there are save points, how far apart are they spaced? I don't always have that much time to play, so having some flexibility really helps.
The game just keeps a save file for each level you're playing, I believe. I know that if you shut the game off, go back to the title menu, and select any level that you interrupted, it will ask if you want to resume your last game's save. So, you can not only just put the game down and pick it back up whenever, you can also switch between the levels whenever you want and retain all your progress.
I am loving this game on my iPad and can't wait to share my level. One minor issue: The level selection screen says "swipe to scroll", but if I swipe the level icons (which is how most games work) it immediately opens the level I touched first. If I want it to scroll, I need to swipe either (a) down the bottom, under the green platform or (b) on the words at the top.
@Kepa I hope you will let us know the levels you create. Can wait to see what some of the creative people here come up with!
Really great game, im having a blast, impressions later as i play it more, but i found some errors: As mentioned above, selecting the level you want to play can be hard. And in the level editor, i always try to start building and placing the character in the upper left corner, but when i save the game and return to it later its always in a different possition than i left it -everything is like 20 blocks down and right from the initial position-
Can't wait to see the levels you make kepa! I love all your games and thought both quickhook and hook champ had great level design.
