Is it retina support? And what about the update of the original one?

heavy metal went out with noah's ark and the rubix cube didnt it? :p s'all about hip hop and techno these days! *puts wooden spoon down*

anyways, would love the game to have retina support, this and angry birds look terrible without it.

The least they could have done was added Game Center. (To the original, and this one). Pathetic.

I actually like the song with this one. Gives it a comical feel to the game... while still screaming "Eat your babies"

  10. Anyone have a price? I'm running really low on dough and I need this to be an insta-buy

I have to point out something in this one that the first one lacked... Notice the Openfeint symbol on the picture? Can we get a hell yeah!

Sorry to be a Negative Nelson but...

I'm not sure about this whole deal. Open Feint has been 'coming soon' for months now. This new version, which is admittedly cool-looking and badass, seems to have OF and new visuals without any significant change to the gameplay.

I have a feeling that this will be released before OF is added to the original, which will sort of defeat the purpose of adding it at all (aside from visual preference). It'll probably cost $2.99; I will probably get it immediately. Still, it will leave a slightly bad taste that a whole new paid game is released before the long-promised free update of the original.

Hopefully I'm mistaken, and if so I apologize in advance. We'll see.

Aye. I completely agree with you, but that's the crux of the matter right there.

I really enjoy the original, and will buy the new one on sight. I still think it's kind of sketchy that this one will be coming out immediately with OF, before the promised updates to the original version. Like you said, I hope we're wrong, and the original will get an update at the same time.

I stand corrected. OF update for the original was just released and I have changed my appstore review accordingly. Looking forward to the metal version as well.

Yup. Now I can buy this without any bad taste in my mouth, and switch between the two depending on my mood.

Honestly, this is a re-skin, but RUA is a good enough game that I'm willing to pay for a re-skin.

due to the fact that it is a reskin I can only hope they went ahead and updated the textures for retina support.

I haven't heard any news about RU (heavy metal) in a while. Anyone have an idea when this will be available on Itunes?
