I had the same issue losing progress, but it was pretty early on. I assumed connecting to FB would help, haven't lost progress since doing so but I guess that's just luck. The upgrade system is very unintuitive though. It would be better to allow upgrading your team unicorns instead of constantly juggling slots to make them jobless first. The events system is extremely slow loading, and constantly tells me it's my internet connection. It's clearly a server issue. Sometimes when they finally load it seems to have reset my progress, if that happens I immediately close and restart, next time it seems to properly reload the progress. So don't play if it tells you you're at 0. It would be nice if normal gameplay applied to the events, it's annoying to have to commit to one or the other. It's going to take long enough to upgrade everything. So far, it's pretty but frustrating. If you haven't installed yet you should wait until the first update.
After the bug fixes I definitely would love a permanent continue IAP and a currency doubler IAP. I would definitely spring for those. Also a better way to make that purple currency. Billy
I'm also noticing that the events are taking a long time to load, and often don't load at all. Guessing the servers are overwhelmed and it'll be adjusted soon.
What is the point of the 'Quit Event' button (in the Events menu)??? If you didn't want to play the event any further, wouldn't you just not start another event game? I haven't pressed it because I don't want to quit an event, but if I did want to quit the event I'd just stop replaying the event.
It's not permanent. I've lost the song after closing the game. It should just be there. ☹️ Why is it like this? It's like some sort of inexplicable loophole, or something. If it can work this way, surely it can work normally? It doesn't make sense.
i think RUA3 needed heavy optimisation for frame rate and heating, along with all the other things me and a few others mentioned in the soft launch thread. As far as i am concerned, this is still soft launch quality. Sad to see they released it worldwide like this -and getting all the negative reviews.
My device is the iPhone 6 (a 2 year old device). I know it's only recommended for the iPhone 6s and above, but my friends iPhone 6s has the same problems with lag, overheating, and battery drain.
We're seeing a few of these reports, and we're looking into it - we might be able to reduce the data package size on server side, so that should help. Were you on wifi or on a spotty connection at the time? We just wanted to make it clear that your aren't still in an Event when you go to the main menu. This way it's very clear that you're leaving an eEvent when you quit out, and that you'll need to go to the Event page to re-enter an Event. I got some clarification on that: this was part of the contract requirement for the track - you'll actually need to be online to have it play, since the game has a streaming license for the track. It won't have to download the track again, but it won't play unless you have an internet connection. If you have the track in your own music collection, you could play it yourself if you're offline - your own music will override the in-game music, so you can play your own tracks if you like.
We're continuing with optimization and heat issues, and plan to add options to change your graphics settings. In the next update you should find that the game runs smoothly on the 5S and up, with less heat and hitching. We have a server side fix that we're testing which will hopefully help with this. Thanks for the suggestions - sounds like a lot of players would like a permanent coin-doubler alongside the one on the Results screen.
No reason you shouldn't if you use Facebook account sync. My friend does this with Marvel Puzzle Quest so he can play on his iPad when he gets home. I may be wrong, I'm sure someone will chime in if I'm incorrect.
Thanks NickFury for the rapid CS response. My game was fixed within a few hours of contacting him with my issue. Nice to have a developer on top of customer service.
Two of the unicorns I sent on raids disappeared. They still take up a stable slot and it says they're on raids, but in the raid menu there are just 2 open raid places to send a unicorn on. Anyone got a fix for this?

I'm on a solid and fast wifi connection at home. Trying it again today, sometimes it loads after about 2 seconds and sometimes it comes back with the message about the internet connection. Working much more often that not right now. It also takes a few seconds to respond to taps when you pick an event, took about 10 seconds on my latest try (and 3 taps, cause I'm impatient!). Might be good to have feedback on the screen that says it's loading an event or the event page.
Thanks for the update on that. Yes, aside from making the Event page much more responsive in general, we've talked about adding a spinner to show that we're retrieving the information, as we do elsewhere in the game.
For now they gave me compensation for the in app purchases i made i have not used them i am waiting till its fixed. They also have me answering questions to try and figure out wth happened. Also they are trying to restore the old lost saves. As always adultswim is awesome with support and get set is on here too.
In case anyone's wondering, any radiant fairies you pick up in the bonus section count towards the event total. I'm trying to decide if it's worth leveling up unicorns before using them as salvage. You definitely get more XP for them but wouldn't I get more XP just using the horse in question? Unless you run three you intend to salvage. Right now I've got six epics and two legendary, I'm waiting for more epics to fuse together before I get rid of some. The limited stable is really annoying, and having to take one out of the team before upgrading is frustrating too.
I'm getting frustrated. The balancing of the game needs work. I'm no longer making ANY of the purple currency. I haven't made any in days. I run my horses but my citadel hasn't leveled. I'm no where near the 2nd rank. They need to put the purple currency in the levels. Billy
