Fusing cards? No thanks, I'm out. I much prefer the simplicity of the original game. This IP has become everything I dislike about certain mobile games. Good luck with the game, I'm sure it will do well. It just isn't for me.
So I downloaded the game. Anyone who loved the first game should love this one. I don't know how anyone wouldn't. I've been playing and to me it feels right. I think as far as it being free to play, and everyone knows how I feel about this, they've done a very good job here. I haven't seen a single forced ad. I haven't seen any gameplay energy timers. The raid timers are acceptable. You get decent returns on that. I absolutely love the citadel and the idea of having the three unicorns as wishes and the ways of obtaining the three unicorns and how they are different draws. I've already gotten several legendaries before I had even spent any money. The gameplay is fantastic. They kept to the core mechanic and they even added enemies to take out while you play. I love the radiant mode. The graphics and artwork are nicely done. The game runs smoothly and is just awesome on my 6s+. I ended up purchasing the starter pack after upgrading my citadel and getting a few legendary unicorns and trying out a few raids. It's a good game and it's definitely worth the money. I think this game is so much better than Robot Unicorn Attack 2. I really didn't like that game and I uninstalled it. Devs I'd like to request another IAP. Could you please put in a permanent currency doubler? I'd buy that. You can still leave in the opt in ads at the end of the run. I'll watch them from time to time when I'm in the mood to get quad tears hehe. But I'd like a permanent option and I'm willing to spend more money in the game for it. Billy
How many times is this going to be brought up. Paid app cannot hope to compete with freemium/IAP games. They... don't... make... money... It had been shown over and over... time and time again. That's why you get adds and iap. I think this game is pretty good about it and there are no pay walls that I can see. If you were making the game you would A. Do the exact same thing. B. Go broke. C. Quit making games. Look at the MARIO game versus Fire Emblem. Look at what makes more. We have to adapt just like developers do. I am not real happy about it either but I love the games so I play them. Every once in awhile I give them money to help support them. The world keeps on spinning. Paid is minority and not supporting the work done on the games.
If you like Robot Unicorn Attack, you should play this. It takes the core game mechanic and layers on lots of cool stuff like the Citadel, more than 40 different unicorns to collect, Raids, Events and more. So there's a lot to like. But if you don't like Robot Unicorn Attack, there's nothing here that's going to win you over. Basically, it's a fun runner with tight controls, nice graphics, and lots of extra little gameplay hooks. Yes, it's free to play, but so far it hasn't been obnoxiously so.
There are no forced ads. I haven't seen any. I purchased the $6.99 deal. What is everyone going on about with ads????? I have not been forced to watch ANY ads. What am I missing here? If I was forced to watch ads I'd be the first one to complain. Billy
The adds will come up if you want a revive on third wish if you get a certain distance. And it says yes or no that is not forced you dont want a add than say no. The one thing id like changed is if you use revive you keep playing than on death you get the add cause it makes you loose rythym
This games needs a manual save / load option - I can't work out what triggers a cloud save. My iPad and iPhone got out of sync somehow, I don't know how to avoid this happening again. Other than that, I'm enjoying this, no forced ads, love the Unidex entries, I like all the different unicorns, and I still suck at Robot Unicorn Attack games it seems - I feel sorry for my poor unicorns, they die rather frequently.
Yup ads not bad. so glad we got music from ru1! I actually never played ru2, because the sick music was gone. Gudgame!
Yes I wholeheartedly agree. In fact after playing this, I re-downloaded version 2. There's just no comparison. 2 is better in every way. This game is just boring. Disappointing.
