I've been monitoring the top scores since I was hooked. Every score for 3 wishes that's ever reached 600k and above has been deleted within an hour of being posted. Single wish scores haven't reached 600k so top scores for that category are untouched. I'm guessing the other high rollers have stopped trying to beat their own personal bests since it just gets wiped anyway.
I can relate.. for me it seems to be "oh look I can fly" *forget to release jump, crash into rock* Or not. Though according to my game, goals reset in about 8 hours, so maybe it was a one time glitch? I hope so, because I like all the goals I can get. Poor Team Rainbow, I hope people start joining it just so the teams even out... not much of a competition currently.
I just made some fixes in the GC leaderboards to allow for higher scores. Sorry - trying to keep cheaters out, and I didn't realize people were going to get that high that quickly. I'll adjust as the score spread changes - What I changed it to now should give everyone some room.
Also there really should be a way to restart your run instead of being forced to kill yourself twice to restart.
There is a way. When you die, the next screen has a little button and countdown next to your score for that run. Tap it and you can retry that run (for a coin cost) - now, whether or not you get a higher score is up to your own skill.
The psychedelic backgrounds in Ice World are crazy. What are those two wolves doing? Shooting criss-crossing lasers out of their mouths into triangle prism crystals? Or is that their icy breath reflecting off the triangles? Either way, the artwork is awesome!
Wishes. I have a wish! I wish there is a game like this. With robot unicorn characters, level-ups and skills. And a campaign and a story, not just highscores. That would be awesome!!! I really love that robot unicorn! It always reminds me at the robot horses if my childhood tv series "Saber Rider and the Star Sherriffs". I love it!
I'm curious about the frequency of ads that pop up after a game or when accessing the in game menus. Used to get lots of them. Currently been playing for roughly an hour with active wifi and not even a single ad.
Strange. I have not purchase any IAP and no longer see any Ads. I recall many pages back seeing players purchasing the in game music and still get ads. I'm willing to spend a dollar or two if there's an option to completely remove the Ads. I Just need some reassurance before that. I'm not willing to spend money on a paid game with Ads in them. I'm assuming you're one of the dev? Any word on why the daily goals are being locked?
I'm not sure if they have an answer, but my countdown just clicked over to the next day without any sight of a goal.
I was playing this tons last few days. Now today the game crashes constantly midway through a run. iPad 3, 6.1.3. Anybody else? Edit: shut off my wi-fi and it works fine now, bad connection I guess
I've had this happen the last few days as well I think. I had was playing today and had it at 3 minutes left until the next goal, put it down for a few minutes, and it said daily goal expired. Came back a few minutes later, and now I'm back to almost 24 hours until next goal :/
I've never experienced the game crashing on me and I just reached rank 22. Hopefully there'll be more since the goals are still refreshing. For those interested, here are all the boosts in the game: Collecton Vacuum - Pulls fairies and tears toward you. Star Dust - Automatically Dash through one star. Another Jump - Use this extra jump in the air. Past Wish Trail - Shows the trail of your previous wish. Giant Slayer - Automatically Dash through one giant. Dashing Start - An immediate head start. Long Trot - Takes twice the time to reach top speed. Collection Gravity - Strongly pulls fairies and tears toward you. First Flight - Fly straight away, without needing top speed. Gallow's Gallop - Accelerate to top speed in half the time. Solar Reflector - Makes you immune to the Solar beams of Giants. (note to devs: it's listed as "Makes you immune the Solar Beams of Giants." Rainbow Savior - Saves you in a crash. (This works on every wish! You could practically double your score with this boost!) With some of the last boosts you unlock, I can imagine high scores going up to 3-5 million in the coming days. Probably even higher. What do you think, SwimCeej? It's gonna be tough to keep tabs on rigged scores. D: I noticed some scores are odd in the leaderboards like this one guy has 900,154 in a single wish but has the exact same score in 3 wishes. Is that possible? To me, it sounds like either he willfully exits a game after every wish or it's rigged.
Phew, I thought I was going mad. I've had this happen every day since I first got the game and completed the first daily goal. Says it's counting down, hits the time...and expires. Lame.
