Agreed. If anything, now I'll tell friends to avoid the game... I don't care how good a game is, this kind of stuff really turns me off.

 

I wouldn't automatically assume that the dev was trying to pull a fast one here. The dev seemed pretty responsive in answering questions/issues in the main thread of the game.

This could have been some sort of mistake. If the dev had made the OP, I'd be inclined to think differently.

It's a great game and I'd still certainly recommend it for a buck.

This might be a great game, but trying to sell me a non-universal and identical HD version paints it in poor light for me. It'll stay on my wishlist just yet.

I had a mere passing interest in this game to begin with, I would very much like to see this go free for a decent period of time, at least a day. Come on.

 

To be fair..is anyone sure this is actually something intentional by the dev? Maybe someone from Apple accidentally made the wrong app go free and corrected it a few minutes later?

 

Exactly my point above. I seriously doubt this was intentional. I know I get on devs for screwing over their customers for other things (like adding ads to previously paid games).

But the Dev never posted this. What would he stand to gain from having their app free for 5 minutes? Pissed off people? Doesn't make sense to me. Anyway, I'm choking this one up to a mistake.

At least in the US , I didn't see the price drop for even a second !
I felt I was fooled , I promise I would never ,never , never buy their apps , for ever !

Yeah I assumed the dev made the thread, my bad. Still a great game. Just doubt I will buy the non hd version as I already have the iPad version.
