Ruby ring +3?! How to get the ruby ring +3?! I saw a lot of people have a lot of them, but I still cant get my first one. Am I missing anything?!
i never seen a +3 ring. I think they changed drop rates at some point... so impossible to get now. Been playing for 4-5 months never seen one.
The gold mine or the Yeti, yes. I would recommend only using the gold mine key when you have near full energy, as you get unlimited runs for 30 minutes, for 10 energy a piece. I usually just stick with the yeti though, due to the fact you get yeti coins / items from him as well as coins.
I don't believe they are impossible to get. Rare, yes. I've gotten a few from red chests by defeating bosses while progressing through the game. I have only earned +2 ruby rings from yeti, never a +3 one, but I suspect that is just due to a low % on any rolled item to have a +3 modifier. I've earned +3 gear off yeti before, just not specifically a ruby ring. Can you get a +3 ring off yeti? Yes. Is it a stupid low %? Yes. All +3 gear is really, really low % to drop. Anyways, with the pirate shop, kinda a moot issue.
Just started so I have a few questions What level can I beat yeti? Really struggling with my current setup, (30 bard, 54 saggi, 40 widow judith, 45 bishop, 30 fire wizard, 50 mercenary) What heroes should I get next? Just unlocked some more in tavern at stage 60, and what should I focus on upgrading? How easy is it to get gems for free? I've only saved up 16 atm and want to unlock my 7th slot. What should I be spending them on? For wings, should I be buying them or can I get them for free?
how are we suppose to be getting these crazy weapons, armor, amulets. Feel like there should be some kind of way we can get these since the yeti doesnt really drop anything good
You can beat the yeti at any level. The trick to send friend requests to highly ranked players who can help you with the battle. To send friend requests, hit the game center button on the castle screen (the main screen where all your heroes are) and look for people to friend request! Pretty much anybody highly ranked will accept you in a day or two, provided they're still active. Feel free to add me as well! My in game name is Mariowammer - I'm ranked like 6 or 7 on the leaderboards currently. The best tavern heroes for newer players are the Dark Rider (from the first set of heores) and the Phoenix (from the set you just unlocked). I'd pick them up in that order. The Dark Rider's special not only makes him invincible but also makes enemy damage heal him, allowing you to survive much harder quests than you would normally. The Phoenix's special heals your entire party over time and also gives them a 60% (I believe) chance to dodge enemy attacks. I'd grab Dark Rider immediately and level him up close to 60 if possible. Out of the rest of your units, anybody is fair game to level although Mercenary and Judith aren't all that great (especially if you have a strong Dark Rider). Also, bard is good, but doesn't need levels to be good. He just needs to be high enough level to survive random damage. Gems are scarce, but it isn't terribly hard to scrap some together if you're patient. You'll get 3 from completing the daily quest each day, and you'll get at least 8 per week from the daily reward. (They just changed the daily reward, so it may be possible to get more than 8 gems per week after you unlock all the new heroes). You'll also pick up some gems from quest rewards towards the end of Greenland. I wouldn't spend gems on anything besides hero slots and silver/gold wings. If you're the kind of person who doesn't like to wait, it's also acceptable to spend gems to refill your energy while you're doing the gold mine event. The only way to get wings for "free" (outside of quest rewards) is the arena. Once you start getting units to max level, spend arena relics on saint wings to reborn them and spend gems to buy silver and gold wings. One last tip: Make sure you're doing the hero events (Mechanic, Queen Teuta, etc). If you don't complete them in time, you'll have to wait a while (a week or two most likely) until they pop up in your daily rewards.
Mostly, it's just a grind. From what I've seen, the yeti drops a 2* item somewhere in the range of 10-20% of the time. I'm not sure what you mean by "the yeti doesn't drop anything good" though. Once you get past quest 100, he'll drop these two star items, and even though their stats aren't very good, their skills are incredibly useful, and in most cases, almost as good as the skills on 3*-5* equipment. Don't be too quick to pass off 2* items as bad. Three or four of these items are just as good as a 4* or 5* piece of equipment if you don't have good equipment, and they're much easier to get. Honestly, the yeti shop is more for players who have been playing for months, rather than players who have been playing for just a few weeks. There's only a couple of people who can afford 5* items, and there's even fewer people who really benefit from grinding exclusively for 4* and 5* items.
Yes, they've definitely tinkered with the drop rates. Back before the Frozen land came out, it seemed that roughly 1/3 of all items dropped were +3. In addition, at that time, armor was incredibly rare compared to swords and rings, with ruby rings being the most common drop. I got about 100 items during that time, and about 40 of those were rings, with at least 10 of them being +3. Now, it seems like things have reversed. Armor and weapons are the most common drop now, and rings are pretty scarce. I see probably around 2 ruby rings a week, and about 10 weapons and 10 armor. +3 skills are also really scarce as well.
Yep hope devs can look into yeti drop as i have had no ring drops in past 2 months. Playing everyday. That seems rather strange. Must be over 100 yeti kills? also looks like everyone is getting fire wizard. i wonder how strong he is compare to joker or mechanic. i just got mechanic in 7 day daily reward so pretty happy tho would hav prefer to buy him with green gem why they not let us buy hero
So I just got my MECHANIC as my 7th day Daily reward. I am wondering is he still relevant? Would you level up? I already have: 1st Felix, 12th Felix, Bard, Bishop, Blase Master, Dark Rider, Disruptor, Fire Wizard, Kalari, Knight, Lancelot, Mercenary, Necromancer, Phoenix, Queen Bella, Queen T, Sagittarii, Warrior, Window Judith, Winter Warden, Plus I am very close to Void Healer Thoughts please! Idea for Emeralds... Anyone else think it would be a good idea to allow players to exchange emeralds for exp? Like 1 emerald is 10 exp or something like that... Would give us veterans who have oodles of em something to spend em on... What does everyone think?
Is this also doable at my level? With yeti I can invite friends but I'm at 3/10 kills for queen teuta and the back row guys just keep spamming the lightning skill which just destroys my team.
Yeah i starting to advance in the regular quests (up to 65) and i can see the yeti dropping better stuff now, didnt realize in the beginning the further you get the better the drops Thanks!
I think its also worth mentioning that the scaling is pretty aggravating in this game. Before I beat lvl 100, I was able to go to the mines and get 300k+ sometimes reaching 450k when I used an item or shield for a tiny extra boost. This seemed like a reasonable amount of gold for the amount necessary to level heroes and make them reborn. Now that I beat level 100 and I beat the first 2-3 levels in the frozen land, I am getting at MOST 230k from the mines. This is a garbage income rate. And the bottleneck i'm experiencing now is just gold. I cant properly level up the heroes I need to because making them reborn would chew up so much money I wouldnt be able to even level them up after that. This is getting sort of dumb and I'm basically making no progress. This should be addressed...
What about being able to use them to increase your chances for the yeti shop at the next reset? Dump 100 green gems into the shop and get a 10% higher chance of getting a 5 star the next day.
