I doubt it. The more recent arena changes made it easier to get relics, so I think dropping their prices would be overkill. That's just my opinion, however, and I have no bearing on what the devs might be thinking.

I'd probably go ahead and make the purchase. The update probably won't be out for a solid week anyway.

Barely a better return than the yeti? I only get around 240k from the yeti. This is 2.5-3x the payout... And especially if the next update removes the yeti coins altogether, the mine is going to be the best way to obtain gold by far. Though that said, I wouldn't mind an increase in the gold mine amount. What I'd much rather have is a use for player level. Even if it's as simple as a 5-10% gold boost per level or as complex as a skill point system. I don't know why player levels even exist if they don't have a use. In random news, took some averages from my game today... Actively playing stage 114 - 45k gold/5e = 630k gold + 700 exp per gem spent. Skipping stage 114 - 34.1k gold/6e = 375k gold + 550 exp per gem spent. Gold mine (w/free key) - 7.2m gold/120e spent = 3.6m gold per gem spent. Gold mine (w/bought key) = 515k gold per gem spent. Yeti - 240k/10e = 1.4m gold per gem spent. If I wanted experience, my best bet is actively playing stages If I want gold, my best method is the free key, followed by the yeti, followed by active playing. Aka... skipping stages and buying gold mine keys are a waste unless you really don't have time to play.
Advice on what next to progress Hey guys. I would appreciate some advice on what I should upgrade next. My main goal is to keep progressing in the game (both PVE and PVP), which means most things have to be balanced e.g. the higher you go in PVP the harder it is to win to keep getting Emeralds and Relics, which makes it harder to continuously upgrade your team. My current team is: 3* Saint 1st Felix 3* Saint Queen Teuta 3* Level 60 Lancelot 3* Level 60 Mechanic 2* Level 60 Bishop 3* Level 31 Winter Warden I also have: 2* Level 60 Dark Rider 2* Level 31 Lightning Wizard No Void Hailer or Kalari yet. I have 1700 tournament relics/medals. 250 emeralds. Currently level 72 on the first map. 48 gems. Should I: 1) Get Void Hailer or Kalari, or wait for Disruptor? 2) Use my emeralds now and get either Phoenix or Bard? Or wait till I get 300 emeralds and reach level 100? 3) Should I use my money and reborn Felix and/or Teuta and keep upgrading them, or should I get newer heroes as above? 4) Should I use my gems to buy a 7th slot? 5) What order should I do the above? Ah. I'm in a different position than you - that's why our gold differences are so great. I've finished the quests, but have a much lower power team than you. So I get more gold from my yeti runs (325k) and less from my gold mine runs (<500k) since my team isn't really up to par. So for me, the gold mine is only about 50% more gold, which I happily trade away for a chance to get an item I don't already have.
In general, I'd say it's more important to build a PvP team. If you have a strong PvP team, that same group will be decent enough for questing. As of right now, there's not really a huge point to progressing through the quests quickly, since there isn't a whole lot of content available and the rewards for questing are limited. From a strict PvP viewpoint, Void Hailer is better than Kalari. He will let you win roughly the same amount of arena matches, but his power is lower, so when you beat teams, you'll get more relics compared to if you beat them with Kalari. Void Hailer has the added bonus of being cheaper in the arena, and he doesn't require the heavy investment of saint wings that Kalari needs to be good. On the other hand, Kalari is the strongest questing unit in the game. She'll let you blaze through pretty much all the rest of the quests, letting you get higher gold rewards from the gold mine and yeti, therefore allowing you to level your units faster. I'm not sure if Disruptor will be out in the next update, but he has the capability to be better than both Void Hailer and Kalari. However, he'll need saint wings to be good too - and those are hard to come by at your level. If I were in your position and had to pick, I'd go for Void Hailer. That way you can spend your saint wings on your Felix/Teuta for a really strong team. Grab Phoenix. He's insanely good - I'd say definitely one of the top 5 heroes in the game right now. His special essentially makes it so that your team takes half damage. He's the best tavern hero out there, including the ones worth 300 gems. I'd go for it. You'll need the space soon! I'd do something like this: 1. Get your 7th slot and put in Void Hailer. 2. Grab Phoenix to replace Winter Warden. 3. Work towards 5* Felix/Teuta and Kalari/Disruptor - save your relics for Kalari/Disruptor, and use the gems you get over the next week or two to grab saint wings for Felix/Teuta. 4.????? 5.Reach Rank 1 on the leaderboards. Spend in balance is key. You do NOT want Kalari right now, since you can't afford to upgrade him and all the rest of your people. You MAYBE want void. Frankly, that's debatable. What you NEED is to be able to reborn both of your saints. So... If you're sitting on 20-30mil gold, reborn Felix right now. If you're sitting on piles of cash, you might want to buy Saint wings before either. Here's a tip on Saint wings btw: they have FAR more value as a step in their progression (i.e. Impending reborn) than they do as extra stats for a 5*. So don't go nuts giving wings to characters that aren't about to get reborn, at least until your core team is done. So... A 4* queen T should get Saint before a 5* Felix, IMO. Last part of this is my personal opinion on faster growth (playing for 2.5 weeks and I'm ~rank 150). First part isn't really opinion... It's math. You need to be able to buy Saint wings and to upgrade several of your heroes, so gold is too big a bottleneck to justify buying Kalari.
It can change on a dime, mind you. I bought Kalari first last week when the arena changes were in and made void kinda obsolete. They since stealth reversed those changes and now void is the superior choice, since he's FAR cheaper in every way (I wouldn't even waste a saint on him for quite some time, if ever) Who knows what changes go in when the patch hits. whar I can tell for sure is that you need gold. Prob 10mil or so would boost Felix to lvl 60 4* for you, and he alone can wipe the floor with a lot of pvp teams. IMO focus on getting him to 4* Saint asap.
