I'd agree with Snowy that Winter Warden isn't worth your time. I believe (someone correct me if I'm wrong) that the pirate event unlocks after wave 50. Your team looks pretty solid, so I don't think you'll have much trouble with it, even if you unlock it before you're ready. If I recall correctly, the first wave was actually one of the hardest, so don't panic if you can't beat it yet. At around the time you get Queen Teuta, you'll get access to the next batch of heroes in the tavern, costing 250 gems each. Out of the four choices, I'd probably chose Lancelot, since he helps the most with getting you Felix. My GC name is the same as my forum name!
@Pivi: Hi Pivi! I am glad that you are enjoying the game so much! So onto your questions: - The Winter Warden is more helpful in the late stages I have her and I really enjoy using her; however, she is NOT a damage dealer but more of a mob control character. Just to keep that in mind - In regards to your current line-up, I would recommend to keep your current characters and level them up high enough to get Queen If you can, you can start to work to get Phoenix. It becomes pretty essential later in the game . Just make sure not to use any of your Saint Wings because you will need those for Felix and Queen - Question 2: I believe Queen gets unlocked at 50 or 60. Started playing yesterday. Tried reading as many of these forum pages, but not possible. Wish there was a wiki for beginners. Situation: - level 7, stage 40 (51% chance to win) - beginning characters with Widow Judith - almost all are at level 30 - not strong enough to get mechanic - had help beating Yeti once (thanks) Questions: What should I be focussing on? Is it smart to level beyond 30 with these characters? Is it worth spending the purple gems? If yes, then on what? Thanks.
Hmm if you're asking me for suggestion, from a player perspective I would say the road to getting a treasure key shouldn't be difficult at all as it is the only source of income for players... apart from adding friends and doing Yeti. As for the treasure key dungeon itself, it is a well structured dungeon that increases damage and gold dropped by monsters which allows certain players with a good team to progress further and get more gold.
got lancelot and added him to my team ~.~ finally gotten felix tho i missed mechanic and queen argh (a lot of items wasted tho HAHA) who should i replace for felix? i currently have dark rider, lancelot, widow judith and mercenary. probably widow? and why is winter warden bad? :O she seems pretty decent ._.
Frustration The devs should really consider allowing people who missed queen teuta and the mechanic some opportunity to unlock those characters. I missed the mechanic, and really regret it and am considering just quitting. Also, the yeti should just be an extra thing, not mandatory for getting a shot at gear. Some people dont want to add a bunch of people we dont know to our friends list just to stay afloat. Shouldn't we have a shot at gear from raiding progression bosses or some mechanic like that?
Did some testing today because I was curious. Beat the same boss around 10x and opened the same set of red chests 10x, and got the exact same 3 rewards 10x in a row. So, ya, chests are rigged. At least the red ones for sure (probably the regular ones too), so don't feel bad about choosing poorly or something... You're not choosing anything
Swap Felix for Dark Rider, now just evolve him to 5 star S, focusing max him first ! Winter Warden is not that bad, it is just that there are many better hero due to limited of slots. But if you have 8th - 10th slot hero you can put level 1 Winter Warden, her skill make enemies freeze (like stun but much longer duration) and trigger quite often when she hit a group of enemy.
