It would be so awesome if they get rid of the Swipe Controls when doing tricks. Instead of that there should be shown up a little virtual Button direction arrows on the upper left side of the screen, everytime you are in the Air. You just have to tap on that arrows to do the tricks fun and easily. When you are down on ground the buttons don't show up, only in the air. That would make things easier, it's hard for me to do tricks with the swipe mechanics.
