No, its not. Its competing with games that are actually on the market. I cant vote for a game I didnt play, much less when its a real competition and such invalid votescould would win a poll unfairly.
I see what JCho133 is saying. It's listed under upcoming games. But that whole poll is ridiculous since it allows unreleased games to compete with already released games. They aren't separated. So, yeah, people can vote for games they haven't even played.
Hey, guys! First of all, thanks for noticing and all of your support in the thread. Robot Rush is a limited version of Riot Runners for Tango platform. The following version has ads and supports leaderboards and friend lists only among Tango users. Actually, the game was supposed to be released tomorrow and we were about to tell you about it. But something creepy happened. Call it a technical fail or some kind of a curse, but somehow it appeared on the store yesterday and we didn't notice it by now. We are still working on the Riot Runners for the worldwide release in January with full support of GameCenter and social networks such as Facebook that will allow you to play and compete with your friends. We have changed the name for Tango version to Robot Rush to avoid any misleads. Sorry for posting just now, but you can imagine the rush and panic that happened.
I found it on the Canadian App Store but only if I searched for 'iphone games only'. Surely this is a glitch, if this isn't Universal I will ask for a refund. Descriptions for games that include 'ipad' and then stretch an iphone screen are not cool. Update: Bought Riot Runners, it doesn't even load up it just flashes the splash screen and then crashes. Nice. I think you guys have the means to do so, please pull it from the App Store. Then, to add insult to injury, I bought 'Robot Rush'. Great looking game, a little rough around the edges like missing obvious sound effects and graphics touches - so again, why is it on the App Store, for sale? To top it off though, I get slapped in the face with the most obnoxious full screen ad imaginable, you know - the kind that pops up so fast you accidentally tap on it without even wanting to. This is in a game that I paid money for. Instant delete, don't care, don't even care enough to ask for a refund because that would be a further waste of my time, so enjoy the $2 you got from me Devs. BLEH.
Are you sure robot rush wasn't free, it was on the uk and USA. It's like a taster for riot runners which (I thought) will be coming later, and the dev did say there were ads in it. Didn't realise riot runners had been released in Canada, wonder if it was a soft or accidental release, but if it's not working you should get a refund, I dunno when you'd get it with the lockdown in effect though (I'm assuming it won't be able to be pulled from the App Store for the same reason)
They were both 99 cents, and considering that the Canadian version insta-crashes I have no idea how it got there. I can understand and forgive an error like that, but the nefarious full screen apps smacking me in the face in the other PAID version, well... There is no words to adequately express my disgust. Otherwise, the graphics style is very hot, although the actual game mechanics feel a little flat. The character needs to be a little more lively, there needs to be little flashes and zoinks and particle effects when you grab coins, it just needs to be fleshed out that little bit in every direction. It has a cute and fresh new shtick, namely that the 'platforms' are kind of being created on the fly right in front of you, along with 'speed up' Boost style spots you must hit to stay ahead of the forever gaining death monster (this is a very obvious play on Worm Run) there IS a decent game under the hood. I can't say much more, because the instant and every time ads smashing into my face ensured I will never load the game up again.
Riot Runners is an old version for a soft launch and it doesnt support iOS7. We are considering removing it till the initial release, but can't do it now since the iTunes Connect is unavailable during the holidays. Robot Rush for Tango is free. Where did you find it paid? It was always free in the store. We've removed most of the advertising in the iOS version for now. If you wanted to try it out, it's the best time to do it
