Awesome to see that front page article. This game is going to be amazing, and I hope it gets a ton of exposure and has a lot of success. Just don't rush it out with a bunch of bugs, devs. Although either way, it's an instabuy for me.
No official release date yet. I'm personally hoping to get the game out as a birthday present (I turn 30 in mid-June), but it's a somewhat optimistic target, since we really want to polish the game and get all those bugs out. We're almost feature complete now and beta is not that far away, but there's still a lot of small things to add. Thanks for the encouraging comments, everyone, they keep us going!
Yeah, the front page article was nice, particularly the video - seeing the game in action really helped fuel my interest in the game (was already really interested, but now even more so). The animations look excellent! If only the game had parties in it... but maybe for Rimelands 2.
Cool! the Crescent Moon team did the animations (Actually I need to update our team page) We're really excited about Rimelands, and glad people are digging the new trailer. The Dicework guys are commited to another pure gameplay trailer in a month or so(?), but they've been plugging away steadily at the game. Our roster has grown larger and larger, and its cool to have such a big talent pool to work from now.
seems vid has been out for a while, looking nice some game info here http://www.pocketgamer.co.uk/r/iPhone/Rimelands:+Hammer+of+Thor/news.asp?c=20890
That's correct. The fun part is that, due to multitude of reasons, the game actually runs better on iPhone than on my Macbook Pro We're targeting all the iDevices and are continuously testing the game on iPhone 3G and iPod 2nd gen, (and will also test it on older devices in beta) and it runs fine on those currently.
Sounds good. Is there a price already? Also, still asking, that will you use TA to get testers? I really want to test this. >.<
