That's gret interview. I have learned something from it: 1. About gameplay, classes and realm of Rimelands. 2. Relase date is planned for 2-3 months what is very long time for waiting fan but grants the game to be polished. 3. Price will be below 6$. Reasonable but I'd pay even 9.99$ for turn-based, KotOR-styled 3D RPG for my handheld.
Wow, that was a great interview. I'm looking forward to this game more than ever now. Really tough waiting for something like this that basically looks like exactly what I've been waiting to come out. This and Mission Europa will be making me really happy in (hopefully) about 3 months time.
Has there been any new development with this game? It's hard to keep this fevered excitement going indefinitely, after all.
I like how articulate these guys are in the interview - it gives me hope that the game is going to be well-written. Space Miner really gave me a (possibly unrealistic) expectation of well-written games beyond the ports of point-and-click masterpieces. I like everything about this game so far, apart from the ridiculuous art of the main character. I mean, OK, you want her skimpily dressed - but give her something that sorta kinda makes sense and not a thinly disguised stripper outfit.
Nope - not dead - Dicework Games are working hard on Rimelands. There will be a release of some more information very soon. Its getting some fine tuning and polishing, and then more testing.
One of the best movies ever and I couldn't stand the new voice work they did when they released the DVD.
There's lots of stuff available on the game's website, at http://www.rimelands.com (screens, stories, info, etc)
