Found something that needed fixing so we had pull the app before it got approved. Going to get it fixed ASAP and resubmit... Hopefully that doesn't mean getting back in line again...
Damn, it'll mean at least a week and a bit. Considering the awesome games coming out in the next few days I may not be able to pick this up now.
Dodonpachi Ressurection Knight's Rush Many games labelled as August (the telltale games game, reckless racing) The money I have left is enough to just get Rimelands, but that would mean any one game will likely prevent me from getting it. What a shame that all the beta testers could not prevent this fix - if it is something that is preventable it screams out to me that the people who are testing many games at one time and pride themselves in making obsessive lists over what games they've tested aren't the sort of people you need to focus on testing such big games. I may be wrong though, and this was a completely random fix, and so my whole rant is obsolete. I just really want this game.
We both know it does, too bad, looking forward to play the game! Good luck with the launch, hopefully it comes out before, you know, the other game!
PLEASE don't forget UltraDeep, Zombie Highway, and Cave Run! Also, Final Freeway and Doodle Dinosaurs have been submitted aswell. Super mega Worm is also due out soon. Big end of the month for August and the App Store.
Please don't blame the beta testers. They did a splendid job, but the sad truth is sometimes things like this are not preventable. Especially in a game as large and complicated as Rimelands. The bug isn't something most people would notice (I'd say it'd only happen to less than 10%), and believe me there's nothing we'd want more than to get the game out and on sale. But we made the decision to make sure the quality of the game is as good as we can get, so we'll rather delay the game than release one we can't be 100% happy with. We could have delayed the fix for an update, but it didn't feel right to put out something that we knew had a flaw in it.
