I guess it will still run (probably with a slightly low framerate), but being turn based that actually shouldn't be as bad as it can be in other types of games. :)

The game has options to turn of some of the heavier effects, so it's possible it runs even on first gen iPod. We'll know sure when Josh tests with his, but please bear in mind that we're aiming 3G+.

    Oh. Hi.
Actually looking forward to this game, the last few RPG's released for iPhone have been kind of disappointing. (Getting REALLY sick of the generic hack n slash RPGs.)

I really hope the character portrait art has been changed....because it is horrendous, while the rest of the game looks AMAZING!

Also, this has probably been said already, but I hope there is a setting option that allows you to hide the dice animation. That could get really annoying...

You know what would make me happy? If gamers took a break from the word "horrendous" and all it's variations. It's such an ridiculous form of hyperbole, and it dulls the power of what should be a very charged word. (If the character portrait on an iPhone game is "horrendous," how do you describe something like the situation in Afghanistan?).

In any event, the character portrait has been changed on the beta (at least on the stat screen) and it does looks better

I hope by 'last few RPGs' you aren't talking about War of Eustrath, Chaos Rings and Crimson Gem Saga.

    Your opinion is horrendous :p.

They said submission should be within a week. After that, it's down to Apple.

with any luck, Apple will approve it soon after submission.
It has roughly 8-9 hours of game play.

So far, no one has actually complained about the dice animations, but I added a "Fast Dice Rolls" option that skips them. Just for you ;)
