Bugs I found a bug that occurs when using the Akimbo Miniguns, when lifting a finger the animation of the Miniguns shooting is still playing in the place where your finger was last. Edit: Also when I lift one finger and drag my other finger which is still touching the screen the animation doesn't follow my finger. Also, sometimes when I go into the store the apparel that is currently equipped says that it is not equipped. Edit: I think this only occurs with the Cap and Suit. And I also think that only one line/reel should be equipped at a time because it does not logically make sense. I'll post more bugs if I find any.
Bug Found that sometimes if a second chance item(toaster, hair dryer) is activated, then almost immediately after when I cut the line, I tap to play a new game and the screen flashes as if the second chance item was activated and in the water there is only one second chance item available for use. But still not completely sure if that is the cause.
I noticed that, I think it only happens with hat & clothes too. I've noticed something that might be similar - both second chance items activating almost at once, it seems like they are both triggering on the same fish or something. It doesn't always happen.
I just tried this too. I get to the top and I've got thousands of those square yellow fish floating down and nothing else. I've been at the top now for about 5min, and they are still coming down! None of my other fish have appeared yet although I caught a lot. iPhone 5, no JB, latest version.
Sounds unusual if nothing else is showing up. But the "boss" of the Stormy Seas spawns Storm Jellies the whole time it's up in the air, that's just how it works. I just went through it again a couple times to see if I could get some unusual behavior but everything seems to be working as intended for me.
This is the only bug that I've experienced so far. Ipod 5g, iOS 6 non-JB. By the way, any tips on catching the Streamer Fish? It's the only fish that I have left before achieving Eagleman rank. Edit: I completed the fishpedia by catching different colored friend fish without catching all of the pre-update fish. Was this intended?
I just tried again. It only does it for me if I go all the way to the bottom. Then when I get to the top I get nothing but the yellow square 'fish' and the small blue ones. And they never stop, so I can never get to the real fish. The only way is to kill the app from the task tray.
Have you tried with other lures, or tried equipping an unequipped lure and then re-equipping the hover-saw? Maybe its an equip glitch? Ive had lure-equipping problems before, until the recent update.
So how many new fish are there? And are they only to be found in stormy seas(i think this is the infinite one)?
The infinite one is the maelstrom. I've yet to encounter any new fish besides the friend fish so far. I've tried a few different hats and whatnot in the various waters to no avail. Hopefully someone will figure it out x.x Also curious as to whether or not there's more to the top hat than just the leaderboard. Who knows, it might be the key to new secrets.
Yes, past self. This is the game that had a 7-second micro trailer. Anyways, this game is so fun! I was turned off of it for two reasons: fishing and tilt controls. Come to find out the fishing is, as the title suggests, ridiculous... and the tilt controls work even when I'm laying down! Very fun game, and refreshing that it has no IAPs.
Love this game from the simple graphics to the addictive gameplay. Never could find that darn mimic fish even after changing the time! Gotta keep fishing!
They're a lot more common after the last update. In fact, I have seen them on three different occasions in schools of six or so. I have seen all these schools in one day, whereas before the update I never found them.
Are the top hat and 10 gallon hat the only new hats? And I've only found a Cyan friend fish, leading me to assume there are other types of friend fish.
