We've heard you. We don't reply here that often (just because it takes a lot of time to actively participate in all the forums and places that talk about our games and we're just two guys making games) but we are reading everything. In fact, we've taken a bit of feedback from the thread here and incorporated it - you'll be able to play your own music and there's an item there for people complaining about the endgame being needlessly long. We're working on 5 games at once - we're all sorts of things but lazy isn't one of them! In better news for you, the update is about to get submitted to Apple right about now, after which it'll take 2-3 weeks to go live if they find nothing wrong with it. It'll be a bit more than just a single fish, though - we don't like empty updates - we'll rather spend more time to give you a proper one.

I typically despise iOS games that focus on tilt base controls but Ridiculous Fishing is a phenomenal game and well worth the $3. I can't believe I waited as long as I did to finally make the purchase, once I played it I got addicted and a couple days later I was done 100%, to be honest though there were some weapons I never even used and while the other hats and stuff are cool there doesn't seem to be any reason to wear them, wish the other piece of clothing and stuff gave you benefits. I guess if I could ever suggest something to improve upon in updates is if you add new hats or clothing please give them neat benefits that will make me want to use them. Also would like to see an option that lets you erase your data so you can start over, save me from having to delete and download the game again. Now I'm going to be starting over on my iPad Mini too. Thanks devs and looking forward to the update with new content.

Do you guys have a zen desk or a GetSatisfaction page? One day... One day. Yeah man! I can't wait to finish up the few things I've got left. This game is LIKE CRACK!! I'm sad it has taken this long, but it's happening so I won't argue!
Holy crap. I had just assumed this game would never get additional content, since I never saw that it was explicitly promised. What an awesome surprise! Just reinstalled, and playing from the beginning, and...wow. Within 30 seconds I was addicted all over again. I'll never delete you again, Ridiculous Fishing. Can't wait for the update!
Ridiculous Fishing is not a clone. It began as a flash game, Radical Fishing, which was then cloned before Ridiculous Fishing was finished. The clone is Ninja Fishing. There is a ton out there about this story, just google it.
You can now buy a top hat for measly $50 - but then you can dump all your money into it to make it bigger! Mine is >11m high, but it ate more than $200,000. I wonder what's up there ...
After the update the game crashes on startup every time now... iPhone 5, I know another with the same phone who has had no issues so not sure what the cause it.
Where is this top hat that you speak of? I can't find it in the store. Are you of Eagleman rank? The only new item that I've noticed is the knife.
I hate the mimic fish! Great game, great update (the knife is awesome!). But I'm not giving it 5 stars till I get the mimic fish. (Stupid mimic fish!)
Do you have the appropriate outfit on when you fish at Maelstrom? I just caught some a few minutes ago around 500m - 700m deep.
