If I am not able to make use of my library(i.e. Tap Studio and Beatrider where you can utilize music within your personal library) then I won't be getting it. The problem I have with all of the tap tap/rock band/Guitar Hero type of games is that the music offered is mostly music that doesn't appeal to me. The music i have in my library is not only tailored to me but it can also be endless. I am hoping for the best in this case and I don't mind paying a higher price to be able to do so...[/QUOTE] I have a different way of looking at it. While I would enjoy playing to music from my own collection, the Tap Tap series introduces me to all kinds of music. While not all of this music has been to my liking, I have through the Tap Tap series discovered some great music. The perfect app would be one in which one could both use one's one music as well as download music through the app.
@mihir79 I can see where your coming from but in my case, I work with a wide variety of music on a daily basis. Descovering music isn't a problem, it's not being able to go past what is offered on my time and not when Tapulous decides to add DLC. I'm sure the game will be awesome regardless but I don't want to be limited to a little box. @Bdragonist yeah I know in the back of my head Tapulous may go about it that way but with the dynamics of this game being completly different, I just hope they can go both routes with there own DLC as well as being able to somehow let us consumers do our thing. I can see it being possible.
Seeing as this is supposed to be a dj game based off various remixes of the same song I don't really see how choosing music from your own library would work unless you like having like 3 versions of all your music
This is going to be amazing...but i hope they add more music. And since the Super Bowl is tommorow that'll kill off the day, keep me occupied.
LOL you completely misunderstood his post . You mean like how Taiko no Tatsujin was only released in Japan?
Yeah, but you never know with Tapulous...and i think my other post was trying to correct someone else. Its alright though. Anyone got release times on TTR 1 2 and 3? Maybe that'll give us some ideas...
According to Tapulous's blog at Tpaulous.com/blog it will be released 48 hours from February 5, 2010. Or on February 8. Usually that means Feb 8 in the USA. Hope that helps.
it clearly says: "Feb 08/10" http://tapulous.com/blog/2010/02/tap-tap-thursday-presents-tiestos-knock-you-out-feat-emily-haines/
Looks like a US (And possibly UK) only release folks. Should be out in just over 6 hours... They wouldn't flaunt the release date everywhere unless they were 100% certain it'll be out on the 8th
@Bpp so what info can you gives us about Riddim Ribbon? Will we be able to make use of our libraries at all? (noticed your sig.)
