I suspect you got a memory leak somewhere, it keeps crashing due to low memory every time I have a somewhat longer playing session. Anyway, I gave up on the 'right' gauntlet for now after dying too much and getting fed up. Backtracked a bit and found the one with the boots now, so I'm splattering body parts all over that place now ;D.
Save file corrupted after putting in fair amount into it. Dont download it. This is pathetic. The game is good but this is unacceptable. They should even refund me.
What were you doing last? Did you exit the app? Crash? Anyway I GOT THE BOOTS! I feel got so good at the first room XD You can just jump straight down, jump at the last helipad, shoot it and be on your way haha. The third room got me so many times. Mainly because I would jump onto a spike or press the wrong button ;-; But I've finally done it, and my soul can rest easy. For now.
Yay, i finally got the air talarias as well. For those struggling a few tips: 1) jetpack (for double jumps) and charged shot (for another bump) make your life easier. I can't remember if you already have both of those if you first reach the area. 2) consider getting the personal teleporter as well before doing this area . It provides you with a quick escape button if you're heading towards certain doom (missing a jump or heading towards a spike/acid bath). You won't always be in time to activate it but if you do, it saves you the trouble of having to start from the rebuild-a-tron again.
It explicitly said so in the save slot, black font on white screen. Restart and there is now only 'new game' to choose. I am sure i wont be the only one.
And finally conquered the second set of challenge rooms! The lowest part of the 3rd room is the worst, I think you actually can't complete it without having acquired the shoes first.
Well it *is* an amazing game, I've finally finished it last week.. Just amazingly difficult at some points. Also expect to make some slip ups due to the virtual controls now and then too. This combination makes it hard for me to believe that many people -- if any at all -- could get the "hardcore" achievement (finish the game with <10 deaths).. ^_^
I know!!! I couldn't believe this did not get a feature in the App Store. This is already one of my GOTY. Once they add controller support I will just die of happiness.# I still enjoy using the touch controls.
