Hi jf, any update on the possibility of having steelseries MFi controller support for Rex? I can only get so far in RR using the iPad controls.
Bumping this in the vain hope that the dev is still reading and can tell us if MFI support is coming or not. I deleted this off my iPad when controller support was first mentioned as I wanted to use the space to try some of the other games in my huge backlog and was planning on reinstalling it when the update hit. (Apologies to those who thought the thread came back to life cos there was news on the update!)
I tweeted the DEV and they said the mfi update is on hold because the the guy working on it is busy. They said it still will come at some point.
Dayum! That's good to know but ever so disappointing. I'm itching to try to complete this game properly.
Hey all! So sorry for the hiatus, life got unexpectedly busy. I am happy to report that we are about to submit an update to Apple which contains iOS9 compatibility as well as ... wait for it ... MFi Controller support! I'll keep you guys posted on when the update will be available.
Unfortunately not at this time. There are just too many buttons and we can't figure out a good way to make it work. If anything changes on this I'll update here! Rex Rocket is however available on steam for PC Mac and Linux!
I'm so glad the update is coming, because I just purchased it yesterday and the game won't load at all on my 4th generation iPad mini running iOS 9.1.
Yuuusssss! Time to rock this bebeh! Been holding back playing on this coz i wanted to play with an MFi controller and not with 537 buttons onscreen. : D
In toucharcade overview it sais 250.1mb in size, in the AppStore it's ridiculous 703mb (for pixel art?). So what is true and what is the actual install size?
