I was editing my post and the button to submit said vote now... I take it you thought it was something in your game.

I noticed that there was a recent upgrade. Does it address this issue noted in the app description found in the first post? I'm asking because, while I appreciate the dev's honesty, this is the only reason I have made the jump.

    "Notes:
There may be some lag on later levels for 2G-3G users, so please be aware of this before buying if you own a 2G-3G device"

    How bad is the lag?

That is understandable. I have absolutely no background in this, but how difficult would it be to have the game resume exactly from where you quit as opposed to saving between rounds? That would address the exploit you are rightfully concerned about. I know a number of app store games have this type of feature, but i can understand if Revolt is too intensive to make it work.

As it is, I have no real incentive to try survival because I play in small chunks and there is no point in starting if I am going to quit five minutes later with nothing to show for it. I'd assume I'm not the only one who has this issue, but maybe I am?

You're definitely not the only one; fortunately the multi-tasking helps somewhat here for those who have newer devices.

It's a shame it is so hard to implement, but also compromising the leaderboards by making it exploitable is not a real option either. Hopefully, although it's not an easy thing to implement the dev will have a chance to address it in a later update.

There are multiple leaderboards full of people who apparently don't have the same issue.

It's not that bad on my 2nd gen iPod, to be honest, I thought it would be worse. The update helps with the explosion lag.

Yes there are. I guess the game is meant for them (people who can play 30-45 minutes at a time without break) and not for me. It's a fun game and I wish I had that kind of time too but I don't. Can't criticize you for catering to your audience. Duly noted for when I would otherwise think of buying Revolt 2.

You can always just pause the game and put your phone/touch to sleep without actually leaving the app.

Whenever I put my iPod to sleep in the middle of Revolt, when I come back to it, it's very laggy. Forgot to mention that. So I make sure to never let my iPod fall asleep while playing Revolt, and it runs fine.

Alright, 1.11 didn't come as fast as we had hoped, and now Jaap is gone for a week on vacation. What other issues or fixes or changes were you guys hoping to see in the game?

My only request besides the constant hopes of further optimization, is making Night Mode a separate Survival Mode with it's own leaderboard and maybe other tweaks to make it a bit more unique from the normal Survival (not just a setting in Options).

    This:
And maybe an option for an automated camera rotation. So that way we could choose if we want to manual rotate the camera, or automatically.

Of course, whenever I sleep my 2nd gen iPod in the middle of a game and come back to it, it lags a lot. Would be cool to see that fixed.
