    Just got my iPod 4. Can't wait to play this game on it, lag free :cool:

    Well, there is still a lag with explosions right now, even on my iPT 4. But the update seems it will fix that.

    (By the way, this is a phenomenal game.)

    Loving the game, played it again today actually after only touching it once on release day. Played a bit of the first level and thought it was over hyped. Came back to it today, got more into the game and realized I was wrong. Very fun game. One of my biggest pet peeves is the rolling maneuver. It's so annoying how you abruptly stop after the animation, before you continue running. It should be fluid and follow by the character's continuous running. That quick stutter step could make a difference in a fight with several enemies. Aside from the lag that is caused by explosions the game is pretty nice. With those bug fixes and steady content updates this game will hit big sales I believe.

    No more cool explosions. :( I don't see any performance improvements either. See you next update.

    Edit: I'm not trying to sound negative. I dunno how to explain... :( it's late... The first minute thing, yeah.

    I'm enjoying playing without performance problems (although when I first booted it up it was running a little laggy for about the first minute). Not sure if I mentioned it in this thread yet, but this is just an amazing, jaw-dropping game. Best dual-stick shooter in the app store? If not, it's close. Really, really close.

    Because it took so long for 1.1 to get reviewed, we've already made more improvements on performance for older devices and as far as I can tell, totally killed the lag issues and can revert back the explosions. Also, Swarm Mode in 1.2 is going to totally kill Minigore and every other DSS. Kill...

    Not much performance issues. It does lag but rebooting the idevice helps.

    I wish there are checkpoints within the level. It crashed on me one time when I was having a good run through part4 of the story mode, and I had to start over. :(


    Add: Looking forward to the Swarm mode! :)

    My first minute playing was kinda laggy as well but ran great thereafter w/o any probs. I was in hopes of an update after starting on hard mode. (already finished under normal).
    Thanks for the update and this is one terrific game!

    No, I mean its seriously going to decimate them, like people are gonna uninstall all their other DSSs. :p

    I had a stroke of genius today. Should take about a week to implement once Jaap returns from vacation for a week. It will be another type of survival game. No more details other than that.

    I'm also going to redo the HUD in HD for iPad as I just got mine today and saw how bad it looked. Sorta embarrassed actually that we released it on iPad the way it looks now.

    Yeah, the explosions weren't as cool, but we've found new improvements that take care of that issue, so we can revert them to 1.0 versions.

    There might be a showstopper bug in Level7 according to someone on the blog, so we might have to rush a 1.11 update out.

    I just finished level 6 (hard) after updating. Level 7 can wait... I like to play my games over time after the first grind. Usually half a game until I take a rest.

    Hmmm... Submit button says Vote Now, I'm seeing things. Good night.
