@Graphicalgeek why did you lower the footstep volume? It was perfect the way it was it made it sound more real more nervous feeling of hearing your footsteps and a robots oh well I hope you did not lower it to much and what about the flamethrower and the rest of my ideas did you take it into account? @
Happy to see a good update submitted! It makes me look forward to more because while I love the game, it needs a lot of polish. Especially in the sound design (generic and clunky sounds plus very bland 'dynamic soundtrack' stuff going on destroy the otherwise awesome atmosphere) and performance (not just the explosion lags, but everything, even menus, could clearly be MUCH smoother making for a so much better user experience).
Awesome list of tweaks for the update. It should be said this game is worth every penny as is; the dedicated dev dropping updates is just gravy. Even if you're not that into dual stick shooters, this is one of the very best. Download.
I've just updated the iPad to 4.2 GM seed and Revolt runs much better on it. The explosions don't seem to cause problems now - nice to see Apple improve the performance on the iPad.
Question: Is this game more of the standard duel stick shooter where you walk around a room and blast whatever crosses your way or is there truly a significant amount of 3rd person shooter type strategy where you duck and weave behind things while being careful to aim and reload carefully? Also, is it immersive?
I wouldn't say the game is completely strategic, but there is more of a strategic element to it than, say, Minigore in which zombies completely fill the screen and your only goal is to blast as many zombies as you can.
This thread seems pretty dead right now. But would there be a chance of you adding Game Center multiplayer with voice chat? The more I play the more I want multiplayer
I was just thinking everyone was having so much fun playing that no one was posting. Yeah multiplayer...its on the list after a Lite version, which shouldn't take long at all.
