For a dev reading this it would be really cool if someone could make a TD or castle defense game where we control the aliens or whatnot to the castle and after each roun you get money for each "alien" that made it and the computer could only add on tower each round and we coul buy aliens with different shields...etc idk it's an original idea and idk of a game like tht I'm typing this from my iPod please excuse mistakes
I've heard of games similar to this, although I can't remember if they were ever developed. If a dev were to make an app like this, and it was of decent quality, I would definitely buy it.
before i was thinking of something like this but where you have to defend and attack. As in each person sets up there defense, then take turns sending waves at the other person. First one to lose all lives loses
dangit! I was totally planning on developing a game like that..... but now everybody is going to so meh..... lol
There's a download on the Playstation store for the PS3 called Comet Crash where defend and build towers that allow you to build drones, tanks etc. that you send to destroy your opposition's home base. It's really fun and you can play with two players also. I'd love to see a similar game for the iPhone/iPod touch.
... This idea isn't new at all... Isn't this idea that exact same thing as the RTS game idea? You build units, you attack the other side with your units and the other side build turrets to kill your units. Well, it is less than half of the RTS idea. Try war incorporated, still the best RTS game i'd played on my iphone.
i never played comet crash is it any good? I was thinking about getting it during the summer sale for 5 bucks but they already put it back to ten.
There are some games like that on the internet they are called anti towerdefence games...at least I think that is what they are called
Doesn't seem like there would be as much to do as a regular TD game. Unless you were able to take out towers and stuff. In which case, someone said earlier, might as well do a RTS game.
Plants vs Zombies (MAC/PC game) has a mini game with such concept. You buy Zombies to attack some Plants formation. It's fun. My son loves it.
Believe it or not, I had that same idea. The name too! I was thinking of one just like that called "Reverse TD" a week or two ago. I guess it's not my idea anymore...
Towers of War multiplayer systems coming in update... This is how "Towers of War" multiplayer works!.... This is a great idea! So great in fact, that we (Conniption Entertainment) have been working on it for months for our new tower of defense game "Towers of War" I don't want to get into the details, but basically each player builds up defenses as usual, and also builds "Runner Waves" to send to the enemy. The enemy is another live person who also builds up defenses and builds "Runner Waves".... there is a lot more to our system but I don't want to give it all way just quite yet Just a note, this multiplayer systems won't be in the initial release of the game (late august) but in a update... I'll keep you guys posted... I really think the tower of defense community is going to like this game, we've been working on it for 7 months now!
