I had to force close the game to get past the second mine. I wasn't able to progress past it because the 24 hour timer hadn't run out for the daily access to the mine, which apparently applies to all mines. I'm ok now with the timer still running. At least I can play the levels past it.
Whoa whoa sorry for making you think I am forcing you to join. It is just my crappy coding instead of me being a super sleazy app owner. It is a bug that I am tracking and will be fixed in the next patch.
Wow, just got a "fatal error" message while playing this game, just before a crash. Never had that happen with a game before. Took a screen cap of it.
Was it right after beating world 1, Level 9? - If it is I am tracking that and have a fix. - If not, please email [email protected] with the screenshot.
The dev posted above, saying it's a known issue that he plans to fix. I got beyond that point by closing the app entirely a couple of times, then trying to access the next level.
Hey Dev, Still enjoying your game, but did experience one recurring error for one level. "FATAL ERROR in Action number 1 of Step Event0 for object objLevelSelect: Invalid type for -= lhs=undefined (type=5), rhs=0 (type=0)." Didn't stop me from progressing though. Also, a suggestion - would be good to keep the progress bar displayed when the player dies. I often look down to see how close I was to the end of the level, but the bar disappears upon death.
It was indeed just after beating world 1-9. Would a screencap still be helpful or is this one well in hand? Edit: I'm now completely stuck at the "join the Adventurer's Club" screen, and closing/restarting isn't doing the trick. I'm enjoying this, but didn't get far between game-stopping bugs. Just a note, anyone playing this who is not a member of this forum will 100% think that this Adventurer's Club thing is an intentional wall (which it totally looked like to me as well until hearing you say otherwise), and if anyone (see: 9/10 of people who decline to join) hits this wall, it's likely they will either delete the game or ask for a refund, so this bug is definitely the one requiring the most urgent attention.
I was mistaken on it forcing you to share your email. It's only to gain access to a one-use-per-day level full of coins. You can indeed progress beyond that level without sharing your email, and just grind by replaying levels, which everyone does as part of normal gameplay anyway. I jumped the gun, apologies!
Progress Report Hi I have been working today on some of the bugs you have been pointing out. I am not going to submit to apple until they are all done though Here is a quick status update (Working on now) If your phone is set to a language for which no translation exists (ex Dutch or Czech) you would get no text at all. You should have recieved English. (Not started) Add the ability to switch languages instead of being stuck with what your phone is set to. (DONE) The game crashes after beating W1L9. (DONE) German text was scrolling off the screen (DONE) If you said "Bye" to the guy in the gold mine without entering an email address, you couldn't click on the next level. Nobody should be required to submit an email address to proceed. Will let you know when the rest of the issues are fixed. Here is a screenshot of the cleaned up German text:
A hopefully minor request: I would like to be able to return to the map from the shop screen before a level. I very often hit play after ending a level then realise I want to go to the map.
First level on second to last screen (the vertical climb) is darn near impossible to complete. I've played it over 100 times and have full health, armor, etc. (actually fully everything i can at this point). Any recommendations or help to get past?
mr_bez is right. To elaborate, the dev mentioned earlier in this thread that each players levels are generated differently.
Thank you. I went back and saw that. The ability to purchase extra hearts just for the next run would be benificial. They would not need to be a permanent purchase with the coins.
