    Do you think this game is too hard? You all are pretty dedicated but you seem pretty hardcore too.

    I am tuning levels for the next patch.

    Your gif helped back when I was struggling with 717. Perhaps you can first try posting a gif along with a spoiler alert in the post would help? Conversely, having over 50 runs before figuring out a solution did seem a bit steep, so maybe a tune up would help.

    What levels were the real stinkers that you got stuck on for a while.

    When designing this game I hope that people don't have to repeat a level no more than 10 times.

    There were a bunch of them. But the most memorable ones I hated were 717 and 9xx ( the one immediately after the last treasure). The level name is obscured but three mountain slope. I'd easily try 40-50 or more times. 717 took me several days.

    Yeah 9|4, 9|7 and 9|8 all seem exceptionally difficult. For me 9|8 seems to be impassable. Most of the difficulty of this game comes from the last few zones mostly because they are played at full upgrade. Early game works well because if your struggling an upgrade or two can often get you through. Probably the simplest fix I could imagine is to slightly reduce the natural energy drain of the hot hell levels

    Update

    Quick status update. I have tuned and shortened some of those really tough levels you all mentioned.

    I am working on pause with restart now and thought I would show you progress because it is kinda fun to see how it works.

    People think game dev is easy. "Hey just add pause!" But you actually have to enable every object to be paused. Here is one such example.... Got most of the big stuff pausing but I am working on getting particles and fireballs next.

    Ahhh that's good news, I think I'll give up on that level until the update drops.

    Yeah it's definitely a sad fact of life no-one acknowledges hard work or effort. Here, have a fan art for your troubles!

    I'm still stuck on that level that is 2 before the last treasure. I've been trying to get through it since my post on 10/27. I finally gave up a week ago. Did you say there was going to be another update soon in which a few of the harder levels were shortened? I still love this game, it's one of my favorites!

    I'm just short of 200k coins by the way hahaha
