Screw it. :/ This is rather excellent. I'm getting Snakebird vibes from the complexity and I haven't even finished the first level. In fact, the game shows I've played a total of 10 minutes (which were all trying to grab a collectible! ). I dig this a lot and can't wait to spend more time with it. Don't think I've played anything that allows you to completely screw with level layouts before. The port's excellent too (yes, it was originally a PC game) with super solid controls. Great job by Magic Cube. 264 MBs installed on iPhone SE, btw. Takes a while getting used to the really weird level-bending mechanic and I haven't even unlocked all the mechanics shown in the trailer. I'll see how this goes and hopefully it manages to amp up the difficulty without being over complicated and messy - very few puzzle platformers get that balance right. High hopes for this one so far! djstout Well-Known Member Jul 21, 2011 2,685 105 63 Sportscaster & football (soccer) coach Taiwan & Japan #12 djstout, Oct 19, 2016 Is it finishable for someone who isn't great at those games or will it get too difficult to the point I'll just give up? I love the story and want to get to the end (not too easily of course) as long as it's doable. TheGreatEscaper Well-Known Member Oct 10, 2014 1,025 22 38 #14 TheGreatEscaper, Oct 19, 2016 What level are you up to? I hate to disagree with MetalCasket but this is nowhere near Snakebird level of difficulty!!! The hardest objects to collect so far tend to be optional, and despite seeming quite open and free, the game does a pretty decent job of helpfully signposting what you might want to try next. This game is very much unlike SnakeBird where you don't actually need to plan too far ahead, you can just try out things that come to mind and see if you can get where you want. Haven't had a chance to pick this up again yet but I wouldn't say the first 10 levels were that difficult. With games like this is all depends on the latter half and what stance the level designer takes. djstout Well-Known Member Jul 21, 2011 2,685 105 63 Sportscaster & football (soccer) coach Taiwan & Japan #15 djstout, Oct 19, 2016 Thank you, I picked it up and will see how far I can get before boiling ^^ If it isn't as difficult as snakebird then I'll be fine. I was just umming and ahhing over this when I read MC's comment - I couldn't handle Snakebird at all. I will give it a go - after all, it would be rude not to at the launch price.
