I like the game, but it would be awesome if you could change rotation... Controlling is kind of tough.
I have gotten three stars in all the races except the last one, which I think you can't win if you havn't got a better car. I also think it would be nice, if you added different controls and maybe different enviroments too. It would also be a nice addtion if you could upgrade your car, to stay at an even level with the other opponents who have better cars. I still have one question , do tires=handling or what does that mean? Other than that I can only recommend the game once it's out
Well done! I just tried, and finished race 12, with the default (red) car, and came first (almost lapping a back marker). Time was 1:08:62. It's certainly a LOT harder than the other races though. Tires give you better grip! The higher your current tire level, the more grip you have, and the less you slide out on corners. So you can generally take the corners fasters without easing off the gas. Did you notice you can let go of acceleration on the bends, and it gives you better grip? It's a bit of a balancing act, you want to go fast (keep accelerating) and you also want to keep a tight racing line on the bends. I may add in some kind of tips section, explaining these dynamics to the player.
I COLLECT any game related with Amiga. I don't like to play too much, but game industry (even indie) is amazing. BTW, make it on the .99c zone!
