Just working on controller support now. Works really well, navigating around the UI and playing the game. It should work brilliantly in multiplayer (can't properly test yet, only have 1 controller, until Amazon delivery tomorrow). Still getting nothing but negative reviews on the US store, even after reducing the base cost of the game. I don't get it. It's nothing like other countries, where they're mostly positive reviews.
Are people that stupid ? Seen this before wheee they rodent everything for free and then are shocked when they come across the try as you buy format and have to stump some money for a single iap. this is why we have freemium. People moan about having to buy a cheap game. They’ve forked out £1200 for a new phone or have a high monthly cost for a new phone but won’t buy the odd game. Such a shame
It might then make sense to include an option so that, for example, all four players can play side by side in split screen in front of an iPad, like Golden Eye (Facility!!) on the TV, years ago. Greetz Chris. Edit: It seems, that there is a problem with „Restore purchases“, when logged in on another device with the same Apple-ID.
Can‘t see my earned star ratings on the other device, but can play the chargeable courses. Same Apple-ID.
Argh right, got ya. Yeah, sorry, there's no sync through iCloud or anything; something I'll probably work on if the game doesn't die a death! The actually IAP works okay though?
Ah yeah, I thought that's what you meant! Matter of taste I guess; to me it seems better if they're 'wrong' (as I did them), may not be accurate, but just seems more readable somehow, to my eyes at least.
Who wanted controller support? New update (version 1.1) just dropped. Controller support and for this update, Circuits is free for everyone in Race Party mode. So grab your controllers, some friends and an iPad...
I don't have an iPad... or friends. So I'll just check controller support. ( ꈍᴗꈍ) ~♡ Edit: Played it using Joy-Con; they worked as expected, fully responsive and precise (got more perfect starts than with touch). Steering and navigating menus is only doable with the D-Pad which is perfect for the game, but I can imagine some people will complain about not being able to play with the analogue stick. Good job on implementing controller support!
That’s great. Works well for me too, on the joypads I have there’s like a menu button you press to go back, so navigating around works a treat. People will always find something to complain about, every game dev knows that!
