The reviews are quite bad, everyone is saying it is an unfinished game. But maybe it's one of those games that are good but has an obvious flaw like the missing iap levels. But I am weary of Capcom on ios. They seem to make the best games on consoles, but on ios, a lot of their games seem more like computer emulators with bad framerates and such. Anyone got any feedback on this game on the ipad? I'll probably end up buying it since for a buck it will be worth it, but would like to hear some feedback of the game. Is this worth my buck? VaroFN Well-Known Member Sep 28, 2011 4,270 0 36 #4 VaroFN, Oct 1, 2012 It's only worth it if you REALLY like Resident Evil. Otherwise, avoid. It's really too bad. I was so excited to buy Marvel vs Capcom 2, only to find the ios version a total computer emulator choker. It's sad, I used to love Capcom games, wish they would take ios more seriously and establish a good reputation not a terrible one. Ok, I won't get this though, cause disk space is worth far more than the price of the game nowadays. This clinched it for me, see the youtube video below!!! Severe warning for anyone thinking of getting this game! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UW-vj-2wxxE&sns=em I like that open letter to Capcom. Never seen a review quite like this one. tops2 Well-Known Member Jan 21, 2011 2,067 44 48 #6 tops2, Oct 1, 2012 I had fun with the iphone version till about half way through and some of the missions got too tedious.. Eventually I finished it though and while its not the best game..it was fun for a few hours. If you really like Resident Evil, or like the lite version..then 0.99 isn't that big of a risk. Perhaps people expect too much from the mobile versions of their big-name franchises; or at least at the price point the sell for on ios. At least when they're on sale for 99 cents. I've had a lot of fun with Dead Rising. despite the mostly negative reception it recieved when released. To put it another way...if you picked up the current gen Marvel v Capcom game on ios, you might have expected something approaching the Vita version, which is essentially a perfect port. The ios version isn't. But one could have been gotten on sale for .99 (I think) while the other is a 40 dollar game. (You must log in or sign up to post here.)
