Is anyone porting this classic to the iphone? Please? I know there are many merchant/trading games out, with slick graphics and whatnot, but none of them touch taipan. Tradewinds 2 is the only one that came close. The things that make Taipan so great are: -it's open-ended. No time limit to spoil the fun. This is a biggie. -you can increase your ship size and buy more guns -it has an easy interface, with few screens. More is not always better. -Having few merchandize types allows one to learn what's a high and a low price, and it becomes less of a crap shoot. -you can play in many ways, by paying off or fighting off pirates, by borrowing or not.. -its simple, addictive, fun its out for the palm, pocket pc, mac, apple II, windows, unix, comodore 64... pleaaaase pleaaaase port this to the iphone... And if you decide to update the graphics, please include a version with the original game, like Lemonade did. thanks
