Anyone have advice for shoreline? I seem to be stuck 2 seconds behind the top players, and 2 seconds means I am missing something segnificant. But I can't figure out what. I do know the first double gate you see can be "double gated" on lap 3 only because green is grabbed every time for some reason. But it doesn't effect the time much.
Hi MHZ, As far as I know there is NO "tricks" on Shore Line. I've tried the "double-gating"-thing, but without succes. It's 3 x red, 3 x green ... And so forth for all 3 laps (which mean, each lap will differ). Maybe it's called Shore LINE for a reason (just guessing): Your lines are so important! Greetings
I think the only thing you are missing could be hugging the inner arc of the turns. The last wide turn was a problem for me because its difficult to hug the inner arc and sometimes you are not green polarity (The inner arc has a green polarity gate). "Double-gating" is generally not that useful since you are more likely to fail, but that being said its useful once or twice so that you might be able to get one more boost charge than usual players. But if you are already boosting throughout the track, then there's no point. Btw, Papsoe, I have relooked into The Lost Outpost and Station 12 and found that you were totally right. Taking the path under the grated bridge was faster than using the ramp to land on the bridge on The Lost Outpost. I have recompleted that track and improved it to 1:32:71 Also found that taking the path to the RIGHT of the red polarity gate just after the wildcard gate behind the second barrier in Station 12 is impossible without crashing into it and slowing down so have to take the slightly longer way to the LEFT of it, but it was still faster than my previous record with TPR. I spent my whole time recompleting The Lost Outpost so will complete Station 12 tomorrow hopefully.
Gravity Ring & Phase 3 tracks Woo! I have re-completed Station 12 and got 1:28! Also re-completed Gravity Ring but just wanna ask something... For the first lap, is it profitable to take the slope to grab the red polarity gate high up in the air (Before the metal railing bridge)? The problem is, taking the one at the bottom which is slightly later means activating the boost to smash the barrier late, or activating the second boost too early such that the first boost's effect hasn't wear off yet. Also, how did you guys do Phase 3 tracks so fast? The fastest times I got was 2-3 seconds behind the top record....
Yes. Also you don't want to use the small ramp and jump over the "lava" - hang-time is too slow. Taking the metal bridge is faster. Greetings
Just picked this up over the weekend and wow did I wish I'd picked it up when it came out. The controls and graphics are perfect it's got great music all round just a brilliant game.
Sorry to resurrect an old thread, does anyone have this problem with the iPhone 5s that Repulze only shows very low quality graphics? It's like playing on a non-retina device or something.
As I recently redownloaded Repulze, mostly just to give a friend of mine a taste of Wipeout-style racing for the iPhone (and let him choose between Repulze and Flashout 3D for his fill of low-grav racing), I'm curious about this too. It does not look the same of earlier devices?
I have Repulze on iPhone 4, and it runs perfectly and looks good too. So I imagine on anything better, the game's going to look wonderful
I played this so much more than i did any Asphalt title. Personally, i like this better than the Asphalts.
I agree with this so hard, and I love Asphalt. I hope this game did well enough for a third big update or sequel someday.
Then something is defnitively amiss. We're talking full on 3GS non-retinafied graphics here, angry pixels screaming at the player with newfound hatred, blocky ships that could have been built in Minecraft (albeit with durned many blocks), obstacles so anti-aliased that I fear cutting myself just as I drive by. All together, something I never expected to behold on my new 5S
Oh wow, I was almost gonna buy this for my 5S. Thanks Ayjona. It's probably the same problem people had when the iPad Air came out. The game just doesn't recognize the device
I like a8 better than this, but this is great too. Seems like this is different now, all 3 worlds seem to be unlocked now.
This is great! Brilliant visuals and gameplay and with the third update. You now get opponents and weapons for the full Wipeout experience. It does it all really well better than Flasout I just couldn't stop hitting walls in that game this feels more refined. The only thing that would improve it would be to have opponents on the original tracks and not just the third update.
Well, I sure do hdope they fix it for you ipad air and iphone 5s folk, cause would hate to lose the awesomeness when I upgrade from an ipad 4 to the ipad pro.
By the way, I emailed Pixelbite about a week ago asking if they were planning on adding more phases, and here's what they said: "....It's possible there will be more Repulze to come, but I'm pretty certain it will not be as another phase to the original. A proper, full sized sequel with everything included is more likely. But, no promises I'm afraid....." So probably no more updates to this. But, Repulze 2 might be a thing. That'd be amazing.
