It says "optimised".....so you can still submit apps that are compatible with older IOS, but your app just need to be compatible with IOS 7 as well (not apps must be IOS 7+).

Yea, after seeing the gameplay and the "vulnerable" female protagonist I wasn't expecting her to massacre her way through the facility. I was just being colorful with the references, choking them till their last gasp of air etc. Despite my overtly gruesome description I guess I was just trying to ask about the specifics of the stealth gameplay, which were answered so thank you.
The only IAP is to buy a season pass that gets you episodes 2-5, early access to the episodes, and some other extras. There are no other IAPs to futz with.
The devs have been basically nonexistent on these forums (hey, it's only one of the most active iOS-centric communities, so why bother, right?), so don't expect a response. That said, in a backer email this week, they said episodes should come out every 2-3 months. "Early access" probably means a week before everyone else at best. Also, it sounds like Apple screwed them over with promo codes. Apple had told them it would be no problem to get codes for backers, but now they're saying the opposite. The dev's staff is now having to manually gift each backer individually, which if you've ever gifted an app, is going to take a long time. It got an 8/10 from Polygon, so that's a good sign. I wonder if TA will give it any coverage now that it's a real thing.
"There is in IAP in this game." You know, except for the IAP that slaps you across the face the moment it is loaded up. Everyone knows that iOS 7 crippled a lot of devices, gee I wonder why? Apple needs to sell NEW iPads, that's why. I had forgotten how bad it was until I grabbed my wife's iPad 2 (running iOS 6.x) and the UI was insanely fast and smooth compared to my iPad 3. Gee, kinda like what happened to my iPhone 4 when I went to iOS 6... These games don't NEED iOS 7. Apple is offering them incentives - period.
Yeah I was kinda hoping to play it with touch controls. But I won't be rocking iOS 7 for a long time. It's interesting reading about the backer issue with Apple promo codes as I backed Broken Sword 5 and they said they'd try to get codes to backers once the iOS port was out. They just didn't know how to go about it.

You may have some psychological issues that need addressing before you do anything else. And to answer your question, no, Hope cannot knife or "chock enemy down with moves." She can pepper spray them if she has pepper spray, and there's another way to take them down later on.
Haven't seen it mentioned, but how does the save system work on this game? Is there a save-anywhere feature, or is it saved when entering each new camera view?
