I notice that there is now a Republique iCloud file after the update, so I deleted the app entirely and re-downloaded it. It did automatically detect my save file and keep my current game progress, and now the game is running fine. Also, deleting and reinstalling the app solved the problem I had with a bloated app size of 3 GB. (it is now 2.1 GB with episode 2 installed)
It's a mess this game,I mean all the problem that had..Bug fixes? They say to me it's for the save problem,for the pass,but they write only Bug fixes..
It does have automatic iCloud saves in this update. It may be worth deleting the app completely and downloading it again after updating. (but check that the iCloud save file is there first) It's working fine for me now after doing that, and it kept my game progress.
ok. so since the new update, nothing has changed for those like me having the camera recorder bug in the very first room of episode 2. crash to springboard EVERYTIME if you don't want to migrate to ios 7.1.1. and it crashed in the same, exact, and identical manner than previously. like they haven't even worked on that issue. I'm almost done with these guys. I asked via email what they intend to do, and i'll be waiting 2 week max for a proper answer, then I'll be asking apple for a refund. I'll be glad to fill the 2gb hole that removing republique will dig with any other game or movie or comic collection that will actually work. coming to think of it, it's kind of hillarious to me: apple fanboys are like "It just... works" since the 90's and here well it's clearly not always the case. JK. oh well, watch dogs here I come.
It solve the problem(if you have) that don't recognized my SEASON PASS? (It's not marked greyed)it's not marked at all,instead all the other stuff,like making of,when I restore purchase,are marked)this started after Ep 2 launch..Also,I had you're previous problem,app size goes to 3GB,I hope after deleting an reinstalled return to 2.1GB Like you..
After reinstalling the app, I tapped "restore purchases" and Ep 2 changed from "purchase" to "download" so it detected my season pass and worked fine for me.
Same for me,after restore purchase,the Ep 2 changed from "purchase" to "download",yes,it detected my season pass,but the filesize for me remain a whooping 3GB..also,the 3 making of now every time I try to download them,they won't install,remain the "download" write and the arrow..I think it's my wifi,it's too fast,1minute for redownload the app and the Ep 2..I think it's failed for that..I had to try with a more slow wifi when I can..
Are you talking about episode 1 or 2? In ep 1 tapes are: 1) Trashed Girl's Dorm room (not Hope's) 2) Zager's Hidey Hole 3) In the BRIG, where the Prizrak guarding the entrance to the Power Station is (His name is Cadogan), there are three lockers. The Locker CLOSEST to the Power Station door is actually a loot locker, not a hiding locker. It's in there. 4) In the Power Station, in the room where there is a guard behind a chain link fence, on top of some boxes here. 5) In Mirielle's Room (have to complete the Episode and reenter).
Ep2. I've got 100 percent in e1. I see no help on collectables with e2 or discussion. I've got 3 of 5 tapes
Don't you remember if you find any books in prizraks or lockers? And btw, does it make sense to return to ep1 locations, since I remember there were a number of closed boxes required omni 2.0 there?
I honestly can't remember where I found all the books. I haven't had a chance to go back to the original ep1 locations, but I do remember there were some areas requiring omni 2.0 to access, so maybe there is some stuff hidden there.
Someone have update to 2.3 version? Something changed after the update?I mean,I read about New Story Mode,that I hope it's a feature added,cause they say:more easier for users who want explore enviroments and follow the story..they take out puzzles in this mode?
I don't know what the new mode is meant to be about, but after updating, my current game crashes every time I try to play. (the same thing happened after the previous update) I am having to delete the app completely and reinstall yet again just to continue. Thankfully iCloud does keep my saved game and progress, but it is a pain in the ass having to reinstall the game (and episode 2) every time there is an update.
Okay, the game is working fine again, but you shouldn't need to delete and re-install the entire game, restore purchases, download episode 2, and wait for it to unpack episode data, every time they release an update.
