Ah, I wondered if we would be able to do that. I've just finished the story of episode 2 and started a new game+ ready to explore a bit more. I take it you get to the original locations from the area where the episode 2 story starts off?
When I click on restore purchases and enter my password nothing happens. Episode 2 still has purchase under it instead of letting me download it. You know, it's always consumer sides that seem to go wrong. I bet the taking of $$ never skips a beat. It just peeves me off that it always works like clockwork for them to take money but for us to get our product we 're left in the lurch so often!!! Very, very annoying!!
IGN gave this episode a 7.5, saying some puzzles were tedious and the map was confusing. What do you guys think? I haven't played yet.
Not sure whether anyone else asked this or not... I currently have Ep 1 and the season pass. I have not yet played Ep 1 because I wanted to wait to play it til more episodes are available, so i can play the whole game at once. If i update, will I still be able to start with Ep 1? It seems like some people are saying they can't go back to Ep 1 after downloading Ep 2.
Episode 1 is just locked because we have completed that part of the story and it has moved to Episode 2. If you were starting a new game it would begin with Episode 1.

Well, I finally got it to work past that camcorder. I deleted the app, updated my iOS, and followed the instructions on this thread to the letter. Of course, I lost all of my items from episode 1, but it was a sacrifice I was willing to make for the sake of the story. I really hope I don't have to go through this headache again. Episode is good so far. It is much less forgiving this time out, which is a good thing. The map is a bit tricky to follow, but it is a nice inclusion over the first episode.
This happened to me as well. It's screwed up. Jet Car Stunts 2 had a similar problem that they fixed (downloading to a folder that could be overwritten by iOS). I'm done with this until things are straightened out.

I restored purchases and installed ep 2 again. Seems to be working, save was recovered. We'll see if it happens again. Spoiler So, who showed Hope the Librarian recording? How does it affect her? I declined to reveal it. Cooper approved but he wondered if it was a kind of censorship.
But guys,This it's only a momentary fix,cause after The 2.1 update they don't solve nothing,i receive an E-MAIL from Camouflaj say to do like reported here some page back by Candykiller,but for solve This thing,they had 2 free IAP,The EP 2,and The making of of EP 2,but our SEASON PASS? They still lot of problem,not to mention all The thing reported here,they had to do a REAL fix App Update..
@oldsnake - Yeah, I'm pretty sure Episode 2 is free to everyone right now whether they have a season pass or not. I don't think they have managed to fix the issues at all. The 2.1 update simply made the new episode free to avoid a disaster, while they figure out how to fix it properly. The game itself is excellent, but they clearly need to work on developing a more robust, stable framework around it to make the episodic / season pass format work smoothly. (or work at all)
just coming back to say that episode 2 erased itself over the night. if its a bug that's a nice one really. if not, maybe it means the whole package has been updated on their server's side and app selfawareness made the rest ? I don't know, this is getting quite amusing
