So, now that a couple of people have gotten Episode 2, I'm presuming it is actually a download from within the app and doesn't come with the App Store download, yeah?
Well the patch didn't work. It removed my season pass. If I try to restore it it does nothing, if I try to "buy" it again I get a "you won't be charged again" message followed by a "buy pass for 14.99?" Message.
I also bought the game along with the Season Pass for a buck. Pom hesitant to download the second episode after reading everyone's experiences. This appears to be a confusing nightmare and the dev's need to chime in quick...
It felt quite promising for me this time after installing the new update. I had to download Episode 2 again but it did say "do you want to download Episode 2 for free?" I installed it, but now the game crashes to the home screen every time I tap Play. Sigh.
Well, the update has caused the game to finally recognize that I DO have a Season's Pass (it now shows with a little green checkmark), but Episode 2 has a shopping cart and wants me to purchase it. Guess I'll wait for the next update to fix that!
I tapped the ep 2 shopping cart and it told me the download would be free. If you didn't try that, give it a shot. That was with the cheap season pass, btw, after restoring purchases. That said, every other game I have seems to get this UI considerably more right.
I got that as well but when I tapped the shopping cart it asked if I wanted to download episode 2 for free.
Thanks, it worked. When I restored purchases, there was no indication that it was doing anything, and the icons didn't change.
Thanks for "taking one for the team" and going first on this! After reading about your success, that gave me the courage to try too. Yes, it worked! Yay, Episode 2 is downloading now, and I confirmed in my account that I hadn't been charged. That said, what a dumb way to deliver "free" content to seasons pass owners! Sheesh!
Well, it's clearly not supposed to work like that. Season Passes aren't supposed to seemingly disappear. That said, you would think they would've been extra-careful with testing the 2.1 patch that was specifically supposed to address the issue.
After my crashing issues, I deleted Episode 2 from within the game and re-downloaded it, and everything is working fine now. The new setting for the game looks spectacular!
Finally! Waited all night and half of today for this to be fixed but it's here at last and now I'm looking forward to this.
So does everything work correctly now? Do I have to repurchase season passs and it will give it will pick up I got it already and not bill me?? because the restore purchases seems to do nothing... I don't know what the heck is going on - I i am just re-downloading the whole game and i'll play from start again.
I didn't even touch the season pass stuff, I just tapped Purchase Episode 2 and it asked if I wanted to download it for free.
So I appear to be stuck. I'm trying to get through a door with a destination marker on the other side, but it says my OMNI is level 1...shouldn't it be level 2 now?? It seems to have carried over my progress otherwise.
Ah, now I remember, in Ep 1 you upgraded from Level .5 to 1... That's the problem with episodic games, it's been so long I've forgotten everything! Is there a way to see your objectives? All the AI is doing is telling me to go to the librarian, which I can't because I need to upgrade first.
