Yeah, I chickened-out at this point too as seeking IAP refunds through iTunes feels like something out of the movie, Brazil.
I took one for the team and I'm downloading episode two right now. I'm going to be pissed if I get charged for it since I have a season pass. edit: They charged me $4.99! When I touched season pass it said it would download it again at no cost since I already bought it. I was asked if I wanted to pay $14.99 for it and warily pressed yes. It then told me it would download it at no cost since I had already bought it. All good. When that was done I went into my saved game and touched episode 2. It asked me if I wanted to buy episode two for $4.99. I warily pressed yes and according to my purchase history they charged me $4.99.
Hmm.. I'm glad you posted this. I almost bought it too but was afraid to when it said it was $14.99. Hopefully you DID actually get it for free after already paying. I got the season pass when it was on sale for $.99 and I'm very hesitant to download after hearing his. Anyone know if the download is actually free like it says it is?
The season pass redownload can be done for free. Start it from the shopping cart page. Having it installed won't let you access the episode, however. SpikeGuy, any iimpressions from the second episode? Does it seem bigger than the first? Are the graphics better? Any gameplay enhancements?
Aw, geez, that blows. It's extra weird because they said only season pass holders would be able to access the content before May 1...
Well, that pretty much blows. Thanks for letting us know though because I was about to press it. Not so good for you but thanks for updating us. Looks like they haven't properly linked the receipt set up in the app to associate with the new episode. Another App Store update might be needed for that because the server bug fix they did hasn't fixed it. Have to sit this one out and see how it plays. Edit. You probably have these links but, anyway, just in case. So, I have finally downloaded and installed Episode 2, but I did have to pay for it again, even though I bought the season pass on day one of the game launch. I don't particularly care about the money, I just want to be able to continue with the damned game, but they better get this shambles sorted out by the time the next instalment is out.
This has turned into quite the disaster for Camoflaj. Hopefully, future episodes won't have these launch problems.
I think I've been billed also for ep 2, but who exactly would I get a refund from, Apple or Camouflaj? I may just let it go considering I only paid 99c for the season pass anyway.
Episode 2 should work fine if purchased separately. Detecting the season pass appears to be the only issue now.
Well considering we can purchase ep two with our season pass I don't see why you cannot. Otherwise they will release it for seperate purchase tomorrow like they said.
this is really getting on my nerve; does anyone have a little problem with the video recorder at the very beginning of episode 2 ? it's supposed to trigger a new scene but it only makes my iphone 5 freeze and crash, no matter what I do, reboot iphone, reinstall episode... I'm jailbroken, yes... and when there was any problem between games and the jailbreak, apps simply weren't launching (I'm thinking about gunner Z right now). here, it just seem that episode 2 files are bugged, like it can't find the video or sound files supposed to play when I try to access that damn recorder
Now I am actually thinking that there was something fishy when the season pass was offered for such a low price all those months ago. Many people sprang for that low price, and perhaps the whole thing was a scam. I remember that people were skeptical even back then.
