If I remember correctly - Spoiler set the portrait paintings so that the people are all facing the fireplace, then you should be able to crawl through the fireplace to access another switch.
Is the second episode part of the update, or do you have to download something from within the app, much like The Walking Dead?
Hmm, I'm not sure how this works. I have updated the app and it shows Episode 2 but it is locked. So, now it shows Episode 1 completed and Episode 2 locked and nothing happens if I tap either of them.
The app is 1.5GB after updating but I'm not sure if Episode 2 is included in that size or if it still has to be downloaded, as it doesn't give me the option to do anything.
This is the Episode screen after updating the app. None of these panels do anything when tapped, including the Episode 1 panel. Maybe they have to do something server-side to unlock the new episode or something.
I already bought the season pass when it was on sale, but now it says I didn't buy it? Is there a restore purchase option? Edit. Found it.

I bought the Season's Pass, and have kept Republique installed on my iPad 3rd gen device. I have only played part of Episode 1, but after I installed today's update, with episode 2, my Season's Pass access was disabled. I went into settings and did "restore purchases", but nothing happened. I tried it a few times, but nothing, no restore of season's pass, nothing. Edit: Just tried the same thing with my iPad Mini (non-retina) and got the same result. Anyone else finding their pre-purchased Season's Pass locked out?
Can anyone tell me if this game has subtitles? I'm hard of hearing and need the, to follow the story.
I also get nothing when using the restore purchases in settings. Reinstalled the game today, bought the season pack few months back. If I press the season pass inside the "shop" I get a popup saying something along the lines of "re-downloading product, you will not get charged a second time", and after that a popup asking to confirm the $14.99 IAP purchase, but I'm not gonna try my luck by pressing "ok". Maybe anyone else wanna TOFTT here? @kagarn, I can see a subtitles toggle under settings, so most likely yes
That's just a general app store thing. It will be fine. You won't be charged again. It done this many times before.
You still have the season pass. All that redownload does is get the making of videos again from itunes or wherever it pulls. I'm still locked out of ep 2. Must be a sever side switch. I tried changing the date/time and nothing. Wait for midnight PST I guess
Why do I have a feeling this has something to do with those who bought the season pass for a buck. I know it doesn't make any sense and you all know me well enough to know that I know exactly how the App Store works...but...hmmm, if this isn't a server-side issue like Candykiller said (maybe this update wasn't supposed to come out this early)...perhaps. *strokes beard while mysterious music plays in the background*
