NNNNNNOOOOOOOO!!! HOW DARE THEY????? I bought the game during their last discount to support them a bit. I never thought it would become free so soon. They can kiss my money goodbye. Never again will I support a developer!
It's Apple's App of the Week. I'm sure it will be back to normal price next week just like any other App of the Week.
Exactly right. It's really a simple case of Apple throwing their substantial support behind an excellent product that they see as a benefit to their platform and one they also want to see succeed. While also offering their customers the benefit of getting the episode for free while also promoting interest in future episodes. And in the platform as a whole. Its Apple's promotional tool so venting against the developer is pointless as some seem to be doing. And venting anger when an excellent product goes free for a short period of time (at least in part in relation to an episode of it) is pointless as well, surely its a good thing. It serves as a reward to customers on Apples behalf also. So basically, anybody who hasn't already, pick it up. Its excellent. And more like it is what we need to see.
And here I sit out of room on my 32gb iPad. I have this, and I purchased the season pass but have never played it. I was waiting for more episodes before I started. I'm sure I'll enjoy it once I get started though. Recommended this to my daughter as it's free, so it will open up the scope of people that know about the game at the least.
The AppStore says that episode 2 is free as we'll be I can't figure out how to purchase it. Any ideas? Thanks for any help.
License locked for now. I'm not gonna play until all the episodes are available. Hate waiting, see But lil Jimmy! We are not obliged to make IAPs every single time we get an app for free!
Perhaps you could find a way to buy the IAP for him, or credit his iTunes account. That would also be a great example for the TA community. Why should anyone buy a game/app they do not like?
