There are ways to skip through parts that you've seen already so you can catch up quickly. It's not ideal, but once you get deeper into it, I think you'll see (like I did) why it makes sense. It is frustrating at first, no doubt. But it might be less frustrating going into it knowing in advance. I didn't know ahead of time, so restarting stung more.

It's kind of even hard to talk about the save system in detail without spoiling aspects of the game.

Other than taking place on a phone, it's really not comparable to Mr. Robot or Lifeline. You don't choose dialogue options. Its inspiration is closer to Please, Don't Touch Anything. Clues hidden in plain sight.

I would recommend not watching videos in this instance, because the game opens with a fairly clever puzzle. But if you must, here's some early gameplay while I was still figuring things out:

Thanks to AppUnwrapper for explaining about the save system instead of me.
Replica saves all endings and achievements you get. It means that your progress is saved. As your playing getting deeper, the content changes along to your progress.
But it does not saves any other things. It is because Replica is not a game in a linear fashion but radial. You can imagine the popular game, Please, Don't Touch Anything. It starts from the very first screen every time but somethings changed.
And if you want to catch up your last progress, you can do it with just a few clicks. The game has SKIP function and you remember what to do. It takes just a few seconds.

I found Mr Robot to be more immersive. That game had some extremely intense moments. This one is a lot harder.

I've enjoyed this game a lot. Scratched my head , scrolled through the same items many times, and almost gave up several. But I always picked t right back up and glad I did.
Difficult but at the same time not impossible like alot puzzle games.
Kind of a hint system in the game if u can't figure some of it out and they give u hints in ways that your real phone or items in life would to help you and that's an incredibly genius way of doing it. Really impressed .

    Remember, remember!
    The fifth of November,
    The Gunpowder treason and plot;
    I know of no reason
    Why the Gunpowder treason
    Should ever be forgot!

    Brilliant and timely game!

Enjoyed this game. Played it through to one of the multiple endings.

Then googled how to see all the other endings.

Thank you very much. I think it's especially timely for my country. I hope to retrieve the democratic country again.

Seems interesting and the kid of game that I usually like... is the game Gard to play as its style appear to only use a small portion of the screen mimicking someone holding he phone?
