Hey. So I have this syncing problem, and I finally detected the problem: cable is broken. So before I get time to buy new one, is there any way I can remove lots of data from inside the device? Last time I synced was in May-June and already then was 1.7GB on others tab! I really need more space as I delete more and more apps and still remain low-spaced. Is there any way or app, or do I have to jailbreak(hope not)?

Easiest solution - Get a new cable. You'll need to get one anyways so do it now instead of waiting.

Edit: You have iPod 4 so I assume you're still under warranty. Most probably apple will replace it for free.

Get a belkin cable they are much thicker longer and just all round better quality. I was pretty shocked at the scrawny cable my ipod came with knew it was bound to break and went looking for a better one.

I still keep the original and use it with a small plug usb for emergency charging but the belkin does all the itunes work.

+1, I actually have two of them; one came with the wall charger and the other came with the car charger. The quality is definitely much higher.

I intend to buy new cable too. Just bought Celly Travel Charger. I hope I find Belkin Cables somewhere. I bought mine in February And warranty Should be 1-2 years I think. I know Cables don't cost much but dad is gonna pay replacing of glass, new case, Travel Charger, screen protector so I probably have to buy it myself. 14-year-old's paycheck ain't big. :p
