Submitted and anticipated to be out by end of August @ $6.99. http://www.pocketgamer.co.uk/r/iPhone/Gangstar%3A+West+Coast+Hustle/news.asp?c=14999
i'm a little pissed th egame droped so fast to 2.99 but i still think i have got my 4.99 out of it and i'm still playing so... good go for all you out there that waited
When I get through the gold key door in the sewer level the game freezes at the cut scene and I can't progress. Anyone have any ideas?
Oh you'll learn the ways of the app store soon enough lol, but yes long as you feel you got your moneys worth then ppl should be happy with what the paid for it games on the app store are pretty cheap even at their regular price. That said it is a bit surprising to see this one drop so fast coming from EA and all. I couldn't resist and picked it up, havent played yet though.
That happened to me as well. Save before you open the door. Use a fear syringe then open the door and the enemies will have the fear effect and the game will continue like it never happened.
Its a very fun game but that quick a sale is a bit annoying. $2 doesn't matter much to me either way - but devs have to realize that this type of sale will make everyone wait longer to buy their stuff.
I think if your satisfied with your purchase then the price you paid shouldn't really matter. I enjoy the RPG more than the original version. I can clear an entire level at my own pace, be more tactical, graphics and gameplay feel better as well. Didn't bother me that the price dropped by 2 bucks. Wolfenstein RPG is just a great game.
Heh, just bought this game and its surprisingly good. The controls are perfect and this game is suitable for those who is interested in wolfenstein but prefer a more slower pace
I'm stuck at the driving level (2 chapter, part 2) where you have the gun and have to shoot the enemies, any tips would be greatly appreciated.
Does anyone know if it's on sale or if its gonna stay at this price because I'm tempted to get it. I'd rather wait a bit but I don't want the price to suddenly go back up..
my only advice is to anticipate where the bad guys will be and turn the gun to face them before you get there and give yourself an injection, the one that adds to all damage...don't remember the name ...if you're taking too much damage, then you could use a regen syringe too
It's amazing on several levlels, but the lack of challenge keeps it from being really good/interesting,
I agree, but I'd go a bit farther -- the lack of challenge and (even more so) the lack of tactics. I was really excited by it at first, it looks cool and the controls work great, but the lack of tactics in combat, the lack of challenge (which there can't be because of the lack of tactics,) and the minimal story have kept me from finishing. Not a bad game, just a well polished bland game. Doesn't at all compare with how great Doom Ressurection is.
Well if you ramp up the difficulty it gets challenging tactics I hear you on just wait till they are in front of you is pretty much what you do. Though I've found you can't always use bombs if you want all items as sometimes the baddies run away and when they blow up they take out the boxes and items with them
