It looks really nice and it's only a buck. The only things putting me off mildly are the grammatical errors in the description and pictures, and the fact that I'm keeping $40 spare in my iTunes account just in case The Witness decides to surprise release. DLing now since it was only 1.50, will be back with imps. Edit: Damn, I missed the part where it said it was randomly generated. I'm not a fan of randomly generated puzzle/strategy games but I'll see how this goes. TheGreatEscaper Well-Known Member Oct 10, 2014 1,025 22 38 #3 TheGreatEscaper, Jan 21, 2016 OK, it's not worth the dollar. I've given it a go and it just doesn't make sense. Instructions are practically non-existent. The random level generation is terrible - there are so many useless features in the map (I don't even know what most of them do, most seem like power-ups, there's a dash, a teleportation, and some other stuff) that don't affect the level at all - often there will just be a clear path to the exit. Maybe there's a good game to be found in here once you understand the rules but it's far too obtuse for me right now. Most of the enemy behaviour seems nonsensical. Some of them don't move at all and are in the way to the exit. You can dash through them without taking damage, but what if you don't have a dash, which is entirely likely given the random generation? I dunno. Not for me. Someone else with more patience can feel free to make the dip and give a different judgement but it's just really frustrating to me. copaeci Well-Known Member Nov 2, 2012 1,606 0 0 student, writer, reviewer, beta tester ID http://about.me/yesi.livera #4 copaeci, Jan 21, 2016 I'm waiting for your impression... not because I'm cheap, but I have too many games that waiting for me to be played haha. The exception for Crashlands.. Support the dev edit: thanks for impression, gonna skip this anyway, you can ask for refund if you think the game really horrible touchy85 Well-Known Member Jan 21, 2015 1,616 1 38 #5 touchy85, Jan 21, 2016 Subscribe to the TouchArcade YouTube channel The game is not absolutely terrible, but it needs polish. The screen rotation doesn't work and the player has to figure everything out the hard way. It never told me that I can attack. Playing as Red Riding Hood I assumed I can't attack, because that wouldn't make sense. This is just your typical 6/10 game. (You must log in or sign up to post here.)
