I've played a bit of the game - and it's totally charming! Enjoying this a lot! I don't mind the price drops, regrettably the game obviously wasn't selling, therefore they had to drop the price, so blame the"premium" iOS customers, and in any case, $5, $4, $2, it's all a meaningless amount anyway, less than what you usually tip in a restaurant! Let's be grown ups about it.
I am not a hardcore fan of puzzle games. But with the sale, I took the bait and hit the buy button. It's a wonderfully designed game, and I am happy to have it in my collection.
Too bad for the price drop, i can't understand such a behaviour. Commercials behind this contribute to ruin the ios market. But the game is fun, i like it and i hope people will not care about this. I thought it was a bit more a zelda clone, but after a while i started to like it a lot! A good point about the music composer, it's well done. Beautiful melodies, one of the few games i take care to listen every details about music.
7 hours in at 58% and the game keeps getting better and better. First masterpiece of 2017 for me, and first GOTY candidate (in Jan!!!). At around 40% the game really opens up...different games but I get the same vibes I got from Aquaria....was lost several times already. PRO TIP: If you are lost or hit a wall, look for remaining nuts in the map....chances are there you'll find an item you need or a new path. Levels increase difficulty at a nice pace, not to mention enemies that get really tricky sometimes. The new powers are awesome (I have them all now but a special mention to the wing suit, GLORIOUS). Awesome game, tough I'm now regretting playing till 3 am last night.... Can't wait to play more!!! Congrats to the devs.
@pepsi I think I've found a small bug here. I guess I've done the room in the wrong order so now there's no way that I can get that last acorn. Love the game though. I've finished it at 93%. Is there a chance of an update soon to fix my problem here & perhaps a little indicator on the map to know where I've missed some acorns or chests? Thanks.
Can't you reset the room? BTW you can see in the map the missing acorns, even if they are a bit vague.
I'm pretty sure the map is static and shows some acorns or hearts but not all. I can see some nuts and hearts on the map, but they still appear on the map even after I've collected them. I can also see some chests on there, but they seem to be open on the map even if I've not opened. Them yet.
Weird...because I just completed the game and they are almost all disappeared. Maybe it's just my imagination tough...I'll check better later. Awesome game anyway, perfect length too. Ending sequence was very cool. Highly recommended.
Resetting the room just puts Red back to whatever door he entered through. I think it stays how you left it after you exit/solve it the first time.
frexx, Hi, looks like u have went the wrong way! I should let you know that you don't have to get every last nut to get 100% (that would just be to hardcore..) Glad your liking it and still playing. pepsi..
I love this game. But I'm stuck. I feel like I'm missing something. I've found the first room with a caged friend and a switch. It's past the first enemy squirrel. I'm sure I need to find an amulet to start breaking some vases. But I can't for the life of me find my way forward from where I'm at. Can anyone nudge me in the right direction? @pepsi? PS - I can't believe the discussion about people whining that they didn't get a sale price. It's $3. This is why we can't have nice things.
Anyone know how to use the hearts in my bag? Is it possible? If not, what are they there for? I just had to let myself die because I was down to just two hearts, there were no hearts in the room, and there was a squirrel blocking my way. The hearts in my bag would have saved me if I could have figured out how to use them!
But they've stayed at the same number even after picking up new ones. I don't even know why I would care about them if I can't use them. Almost feels like a bug. I was originally impressed that I could pick them up and store them in case I needed them. Now they're just taunting me.
It has to be a bug. The description on the right says "Use liberally to heal...". I'm just starting out so I haven't used it yet. Heck I didn't even realize the bag was there until you mentioned it! Maybe you can't literally use them but have to collect a certain number...?
I am on 47% now, I am very impressed with this game, it truly is amazing can't say otherwise, it has great looks, funny story, great puzzling, secrets to discover a lot of backtracking, I just realize I don't need any console if the games we get this year are this good.
