i thought i remembered reading that you cannot redownload apps for free anymore? I just had my computer fixed and backed up all of my apps on a hard drive, but the game last cannon was corrupted or something and wouldn't transfer. Am I allowed to redownload for free? I'd like to know before I try it
On the computer you can redownload for free for sure. On your iDevice, there have been mixed and random answers. I personally have been able to download again for free and haven't got the pop-up box saying I'd have to re-buy. But others say they have. So it's worth a shot. You'll get a pop-up that you can say cancel to if you are prompted to re-buy. Or it will just say it's free and you say "OK".
