Oh wow. This was one of the first Cydia apps I ever installed. I didn't realize it had gone 'legit'. Definitely a neat concept.

Where is it on Cydia? What source?
Is it still there? I can't find it.

It was on BigBoss I believe, but it looks like it is gone now. At least on my 3Gs, emailing the product list didn't work in that version. If it works on the appstore version that is probably worth the $2.

The amazing thing is: It works on the 3G too! I don't know how, but they managed to use the extremely blurry 3G camera stream for a perfect working barcode scanning. Definitely one of the unknown gems in the store.

Edit: Okay, it is obviously not unknown in the US store.

    Isn't this great?

I wish it would incorporate in to this a shopping list that you could then link to an online shopping site though - like tesco.com or ocado. How cool that would be... when you run out of something at home, scan it... then when you have a full list of stuff, just fire off an order to Ocado and it gets delivered to your house! Just think I might never need to come in to human contact again - I'd have this for my foodly needs and Alice's Adventures for everything carnal!

    Life is sweet!

    Jamie.
