Hi, I just noticed that with iTunes 9.0, there is Redeem code in AppStore in every country... wondering if this will mean that it will be possible to redeem app codes anywhere. For now I am getting error "This code is for US customers only" on my SVK account (as I got them few days before patch 9.0 came out, I guess I will give them away in few days since my US account was disabled), but I guess that new codes will be redeemable anywhere - any info about this?
well, there is something going on... so far, all iTunes stores were able to redeem codes, but app codes were restricted to US store only. Now, they added redeem codes to "AppStore only" countries as well, still I am not sure how this is going to work. Will developer define which country they want to create code for? I am not familiar with how it works atm
iTunes Connect still says codes are for the U.S. only. I tried redeeming a Pinch n Pop code in Canada just to see for myself but it didn't work. No use letting it go to waste though... YF4WPJ3AMN7R
