Have a complilation of games to trade in, and been thinking about getting RDR. I wasn't a giant fan of the latter GTA games, but I dont mind the 3rd person style. Is the engine that runs the game the same? or what? Does anyone know?
About two thirds in the game you see De Santa f*cking some Mexican chick on a table in a cutscene. And then she runs away failing to cover up her bewbs. That's about it.
Apparently you can kind of prestige 5 times once you hit level 50. And you can eventually ride a buffalo =O
I noticed the buffalos (there's like 3), but do you have to prestige to get said buffalo? I'm not digging the multiplayer as much as, say, CoD.
yeah, everytime yu hit level 50 you get new mount, and every time you prestige you unlock the mounts earlier
So did anyone else watch that 30 minute short film they had on Fox? I've never been so underwhelmed by a short film before. It was basically a series of clips and cutscenes from the beginning-ish to Fort Mercer. The action was ingame so it looked extremely unimpressive (by cinematic standards), and the whole thing felt like an amateur video made by a YouTuber. >=O Basically, extreme let down. They made a big deal of John Hillcoat directing it too, which made no sense since his job must've been done for him because ALL the scenes were from the goddamn game. Gahhhh. Rant over.
I heard about it from a friend last night, but I thought it was either life action or entirely CGI. I have no idea why anyone would watch cut-scenes.
I wanted to see it because I won't get it for two months, but I missed it. I hope it gets put on Hulu or Rockstar's website. Wouldn't an iPhone version be so pimp? It could even by like CTW. But I would prefer TPS.
It's best not to see it. It introduces the characters terribly, and really butchers how the story was put together.
Glad I didn't miss anything. I thought it was supposed to be good being that is a Machimana film made by John Hillcoat(The Road).
You guys do know that there's a final mission after John gets shot up over in Blackwater disguised as a stranger mission? Finish it to finally beat the game, since most of you noticed the credits don't roll after the last mission. Highlight the blank gaps, since they're spoilers. But yeah, the ending was really good for a video game. Especially the part where you have to take all army guys out even though you know you can't.
